America's military seems to have a nasty habit of opening bioresearch labs on foreign soil. The only reason they might be doing that in my opinion is that they are doing research they can't get away with doing on US soil.
It begs to the reason she was released. Refused to work on what they wanted to do? Working on something they didn't want worked on? Telling on them for what they were doing?
That's not an opinion, that is fact and law.

Jeez people, not every ugly woman is transgender. Maybe put away the magazines and meet some real people for a change. Unrealistic beauty standards are what is causing so much havoc in the first place. She may not be a looker, but that's hardly the only thing that makes a woman a real woman. Sometimes I appreciate when a woman can be herself without all the superficiality, and you all need to learn that too or else things are never going to get better.

To have made a captain, she has to have had a long career, which puts her butter bar commision long enough ago to be a woman. The standards WERE much different then..

I know this is true because People have thought many times I was a boy growing up. I am considered ugly by many standards. My thyroid is usually swollen and my hands are what the stupid internet idiots call proof of being a man. The same as my Mom and Sister.
Yep, I don't feel bad, I am 65 and have learned that it does not matter, I am not what most would call ugly anymore but I am working on gaining weight. There is no doubt in my mind that Jesus loves me and us. And Jesus's Church is anywhere that 2 or more come together in his name!

This is so true, but I am seeing more and more of is being a woman is for some the very first thing they look for. Just another way to make it harder for real women, people looking at you in doubt. Do we have to start wearing t shirts that say I have a vagina?

It's true, too--I used to be a CNA (certified nurse's aide). I spent all that time and money on training, only to absolutely suck at the job, largely because I was spending so much time around bodily wastes in a nursing home.
At the very least, it gave me a new respect for America's nursing staff. You really have to love that job to do it. I'm not joking, if you're a nurse or CNA here or whatever, my hat's off to you.
As a nurse who works in long term care (Nursing homes), my hat is always off to the CNA staff. Talk about heavy lifting, they are essential people in these facilities. A good staff of CNAs can make a place run smoothly.

as to the question about being fired, the US military uses this term when they relieve a commissioned officer from their command or position, but they are not discharged from the service. they are just reassigned. it is supposed to convey a similar stigma as in civilian life, but they do not actually lose their rank and paycheck.
