Faraday bags work, but the phone is constantly trying to reach the cell tower and wifi. The battery drains quickly. Not really useful for what we are talking about here . As others have pointed out, the phone will look to update as soon as it is out of the bag.

Could be a very good thing to buy a phone that is built in collaboration with a guy that is very knowledgeable about phone/internet spy viruses. His phone stops spying & can delete stuff. You should watch Tucker’s interview.

It seems counterintuitive when the only phone they support is google pixel.
Better than the 2 mainstream alternatives. Sailfishos is kinda janky. I used one for a couple years. Light phone if you want to cut all the apps out and punkt makes a dumb phone and a newer more traditional phone. But it takes a special mindset use either. Writing this on my graphene and it is the most versatile of all of them. The grapheme guy developed android, among many other people for google so makes sense that focuses on a device he knows very well.

This is unfortunately a fight that has already spread to multiple battlefronts and will expand to many more in the future. I put up a post on this yesterday, though it got little traction.
Beyond the obvious nature of evil companies to spy on us, many software companies are going to try to do this in order to get access to your data for AI training. Whomever has access to the best real data is going to have the best AI and they're all racing to build the best AI.
Adobe has had major pushback in the past week on their new terms of service and that's a battle I suspect we're about to get a small victory in because people spoke up and cancelled their adobe subscriptions.
We're going to need to repeat that many times. But we can win this battle if we use our voices and wallets. I also expect to see enterprising coders develop methods to obfuscate data on the Windows PC side of things.
