If you took off of those 'protesters' everything that was made from oil or natural gas... they would likely be standing there naked in the field. No shoes, no elastic, no synthetic clothes, no synthetic thread, etc... . Even if they wore 100% cotton... it was grown using OIL and fertilizer was derived from NATURAL GAS, irrigated using either diesel or gasoline engines and the clothing was manufactured using energy from OIL, COAL or GAS.

Even the seals and cap on the spray can for the orange powder, and parts of the compressor used to pressurize it were made from OIL.
