The numbers for other foods nationwide are pretty comparable. Fruit salad caused 1,323 illnesses, 29 hospitalizations, 1,345 illnesses, 100 and 4 1,345 illnesses, 104 hospitalizations, and 19 deaths. And pizza caused 1,614 illnesses, 3 deaths.
The FDA is almost entirely controlled by the pharmaceutical industry. As a federal agency, you'd think that the FDA is paid by taxpayers.
But wouldn't you know the pharmaceutical industry finances 75% of the agency's drug division? Now every 5 years, top officials at the FDA go behind closed doors to negotiate its budget, but they're not at the table with US lawmakers. Instead, they're negotiating with representatives from major pharmaceutical industries whose products are regulated by the FDA.”"
That could also be used to eliminate other animal products, and make diets like keto, low carb, and carnivore, impossible. They have been pushing veganism and vegetarianism for a long time now, was going for raw milk meant to be one of the first steps to force those diets on everybody?

If you have not been a farmer, you cannot understand the interference by the Feds. I've posted before that my husband was a farmer. Up before dawn and many days home after dark in crazy weather. One year he had to hire cranes to oull combines out of tire high mud.
He had Feds come to the farm to tell him what and where he could plant on his own land! Then, dog tired, he'd have to draw maps and fill out forms proving to the bastards that he was complying. If he had not, he would have literally lost the farm.
Time for the USDA and any other interfering alphabets to GTFO!

The laws about raw milk are insulting. I also remember my grandparents drinking cow milk daily. Then Roosevelt made them kill their dairy cows. My grandfather hated him the rest of his life for that.
And the FDA does not have the unlimited right to contaminate our food to cause bodily harm and death on the citizens of the U.S. Here is another government agency that needs to go because they certainly do not protect us.
