Trump's hands were tied in most cases due to it being up to the states and cities to keep their joggers in line (they deliberately didn't). I think he did have some pull about defending federal buildings though.

Our family has decided we are not going to live in fear BUT we are going to hunker down and not do a lot of crowd stuff and wont be traveling over the holidays. We are sufficiently prepared to winter in.
I would not be surprised if Biden/Harris dont shut down our power, short us on food deliveries, throw us some weather surprises and release their illegal armies against us. We are ready and we will not let them steal our bright future.

It is crazy up there - it is amazing how different eastern WA and eastern Oregon are than the northwestern areas. I think it has to do with control of the ports but probably just another conspiracy theory. We moved from Pt Townsend area to a couple states away - bright red but the college towns have had a big influx of libs. I'm still bitter that a close friend of mine attacked me with personal insults on my FB wall publicly around 2018,... however, he woke up in the past year, when I talked to him recently he did not apologize for his behavior. His ego is too big to apologize. He only wants to be seen as "I am smart and I know everything". He continues to think he was right all along. He is now supporting Trump. Meh, fuck it. Don't care. I have my good friends i've met through this journey. They will be my real friends for life.
