I try to crosslink my dupes when another one that gets liked more shows up .. and sometimes vice versa. Depends on what’s best for the topic.

What happens with accounts who get consistently downdooted and deported for their first page(s) of posts, with poor grammar, no research value added, and no good thought, but keep at it until their account stops being smacked down or whatever? If you can say.
Have seen several examples floating around from both recently and 3 years ago (who then went inactive and popped up again recently).
When a user comes to our attention, we take time to evaluate the user based on past and current posts and comments and we look at their file to see what problems they have caused the mods in the past. (Yes, we keep notes, frens. Santa's not the only one that has a naughty list.) We make a judgment call on whether to simply remove the comment/post and keep an eye on that individual, give a user a few days off to cool down and come to their senses, or hand out a perma-ban because there is no rehabilitating them.
Yes, there are also the sleepers who go dormant for long periods of time and then resurface. Inevitably, they come to our attention and we deal with them accordingly. We also get users that are only here to shill some product -- they are immediately perma'd.

Its a mixture between shilling and the fact that a large portion of the posters here are drive by enthusiasts. They don't frequent the board enough, or other boards detached from here, to understand how to communicate in a more ethical way with the recent discussion topics. Unfortunately this board is supposed to be a purely Q research board with a couple memes and giggles in between, but it hasn't been that in a long time.
