Trump didn't call for Congress to abolish the income tax. He states historical precedent as to why it could POSSIBLY be eliminated in lieu of tariffs. While I agree with and support the idea (more elimination of government overreach IS a good thing), we still don't know for sure what the plan is. It's implied that he'd like to get rid of the income tax, but there hasn't been anything that outright indicates it's going to happen. I think we need to keep things in context in regards to what Trump is actually saying at the moment and reserve ourselves from putting conjecture out as definitive statements.

Since income tax is used to pay the interest on the debt, easy way to solve this is kill the Fed and FRNs. and convert the IRS infrastructure to tariff and on luxury tax collection.

If the government wants to print money, they need to put out an order for a bridge or something we actually need. Contract a construction company to build said bridge and then print the money and give it to the contractor and we get a bridge for the new money instead of an interest charge to some rich family or banker.

No, books are books and the average person cannot even breakdown money in money out for their personal finances. Businesses will still need accountants.
Also I think when the real plan goes into effects (UBI for individuals, local manufacturing subsidy, small business grants etc) CPAs will be needed to make sure people/businesses get what they are entitled to but also that no one takes advantage of the new system. We do not want grifters abusing our new economy the way they did PPP "loans"
I think the income tax will be eliminated, at least for the 95%. It will be incremental and gain speed. It will take a little while for tariffs and oil sales to Asia to spin up the necessary revenue. All the cuts in spending will bring success from both ends.

Well for tax prep yes…but for companies, you still need to know how your business is faring.
Maybe the CPAs can help with tariffs too. They can be remote consultant to aid the ERS (external revenue Service)
