he is, i suffered from terrible eczema my entire life, skin ruined by the disgusting steroid cream that the quacks dish out, his advice took away all my symptoms in an easy natural way.
I have never felt so good to sleep and wake up without the debilitating itching and damage that it causes.
Try carnivore for 3 months and be amazed. Since you're not paying for the sides use that money to buy good cuts of meat. I know tons of people ( me & wifey too ) that have fixed a plethora of issues simply by cutting sugar, bread, pasta, seed oils, and processed food. Many have even dropped some or all of their meds.
Some even do dairy with it, but it must be good dairy ( real cheese, raw milk, good eggs, etc ).Others do ketovore and add veggies in too. No quantity restrictions so it's not your typical diet, altho obviously there are food type restrictions.
Go read comments on carnivore and you will find all of the legit reviews you need. Shawn Baker MD is just 1 guy who speaks a lot about it. For anyone with longstanding issues they cannot solve I highly recommend trying it.
It's crazy because it satiates you so well the in between meal munchies just go away. The crashes and brain fog are gone as well. Could go on, but u can read comments and ppl telling their positive stories for weeks.
We just need to get back to the old days - real food. If you can't catch/grow it on land, pull it out of the air or sea, it's not real food.
I agree with the above but include small fish such as sardines, whitebait, green leafy vegetables and olive oil in your diet. Also free range eggs, magnesium, and vitamin D3+K2. (There's a lot of fake D3 on the market so beware.)
Heard only good things about carnivore. Are you still on it and do you intend to stay on it forever? I often wonder if people do it for a time to lose weight and improve health, then go back to a "normal" but healthy diet. Thanks for the testimony.
Yes I'll stay on it forever OR until Trump admin cleans up our food so more cleaner choices are available. After 6 months we incorporated veggies back in, at a year-dairy No additional weight picked up, or old issues resurfacing, & still off the meds.
Other bonuses were less aches, better sleep, mental clarity, eczema issues cleared up, less time shopping, cooking, and cleaning up.
Start small - eliminate processed food, sugar, pasta ( enriched bleach flour ), seed oils. Just those few things alone should have a dramatic effect.
And for the record I don't ever starve. For me the weight just fell off and was a bonus. My wife loves it because she lost more weight doing this than exercise and with less work. Also dropped her meds.
I had to try it because I read 1000 comments of ppl praising it and fixing health problems and some health ppl I trust started talking about the benefits. It is legit and highly recommend at least trying it, especially if you're trying to fix things like I was.
Thanks. One other question. It seems odd to eat only meats and animal products. Did you or your wife ever cheat? I would think the occasional cheat day might be okay. Just curious because it does seem like a very drastic lifestyle / diet.
Hah, sorry, friend. I'm taking high doses of D3, 40000 iu with zinc and K2. The K2 is for the excess calcium that can be produced by the D3. It's just the normal recommended dose of zinc and K2.
It works fabuolously
Thanks, fren. Just to clarify so I have this right, it's 40 THOUSAND iu you're taking daily? If so, please be careful. I read about an old man who killed himself by taking 50K per day and overdosed on it.
You can of course get some reaction from high doses but if you watch the videos you will see how difficult it is as the liver has to produce a chemical that allowsVit D to be utilised . most of it will be lost.
Compare that to the steroids my doctor never worried about doling out to me for years.
Good luck my friend, God Bless.
A crazy Scientologist but I believe his love for health and nutrition is real and the advice I've taken from him has seemingly always been helpful and positive.
I lost 40 pounds and my anxiety and depression, gut issues cleared up thanks to Dr Berg and a ketogenic diet. Many, many helpful videos on his channel. He’s a hero, for sure.
I'm willing to overlook that. He has helped many people see through the big pharma facade. Tom Cruise is also a nut job Scientologist, but I still like both Top Gun movies..... 🤷♀️
Wife started making sourdough bread. Once the starter gets going it becomes a routine. Better for your gut and only three ingredients. flour salt and water.
I have been making long fermented sourdough but I can't tolerate it anymore even with organic unbleached wheat. It tastes good and is easy though and far healthier than other bread if one can tolerate gluten.
When I was a kid we visited relatives in Canada, it was so advanced compared to Ireland, so many food choices and candies. I remember the different flavours of chips, we only had cheese and onion or salt and vinegar.
My favourite Canadian uncle often brought us to baseball and hockey games, where we loved hotdogs, something we never had in Ireland, he would tell us that hotdogs were made from tongues and butt cheeks.
I think tongues and butt cheeks is being kind :) I think "made from whatever fell to the floor during processing of the rest of the cow" is closer to the truth :)
I share your appreciation of good homemade bread, it's just hard to find anywhere. Even artisan bakeries that spring up offering "ancient grain" bread that has basic ingredients -- wheat, milk, water, salt -- don't last very long, as most people prefer white bread and other such garbage.
You may have inadvertently put your finger on the root cause of all junk food. In addition to the foods themselves being junk, they also share an "ingredient" that is invisible... convenience.
In olden days people used to make their own bread from simple ingredients, they would farm their own land, milk their own cows, and sell any surplus to city dwellers, who also used those ingredients to make their own foods. At the turn of the last century, about 1900, all housewives engaged in such labor intensive activities, and a husband could support his family on his own earnings from whatever job he had, from farming to factory work to office work.
But modern folks (and I include myself in this) have become so used to the convenience of buying premade food that it's almost like a hidden addiction. No one wants to spend their entire days in their kitchens baking bread, grinding meat, cooking a lavish dinner (and breakfast and lunch) for the family, and doing all the multitude of activities that it once took to run an efficient and economic household.
In fact, there used to be a high school class for girls in my old school called "Home Economics." It taught young girls how to sew, cook, and handle a budget. And if one managed to attract and marry such a girl, she would be a life partner of great value.
And for the boys there was shop classes (basic carpentry and power machines) and agricultural studies. This was in east Tennessee where I grew up, many years ago.
Would kids today (or their parents, for that matter) ever be interested in revitalizing such studies? Or has our addiction to convenience ruined us all?
Actually, you do not need to slave in the kitchen just to create all that. You just need to know how to do it efficiently. Unfortunately, I am working too many hours now and so I have not been able to do this. You can make the most wonderful bread in about 2 hours using a bread machine. It will last a week or at least 5 days. You can cook the whole week dinners and freeze them in half an afternoon. I know I am a fast person but yes, you can.
I don't dispute what you're saying; only that most people today won't even spend an extra 2 hours in the kitchen doing all that. Young folks today think nothing of spending their money on DoorDash or Uber Eats, or wasting dollars on coffee based drinks at Starbucks, all of which they COULD make at home on their own.
But that's not "cool" is it? They would think themselves "weird" for doing such things and becoming self sufficient. TikTok is full of such people... and it's not just young people, way too many older folks are like that too.
Just last night my wife and I had dinner out with a couple who also say that they are into "healthy eating" and they talked about a fresh food delivery service they use. Convenience.
For most of the 2 hours you do something else. You have to wait for the bread to rise and you have to wait for it to bake.
You know that none of this was a problem when we had "housewives". But [they] engineered the circumstances that forced both partners to go out to work. Now we need to lower our needs so that one partner stays at home. It's possible. I've done it. I stayed at home, worked at my own business AND had time to cook the evening meals.
I love cooking and baking. My teens best friend sarcastically stated my home is an "ingredient household" which is a compliment to those of trying to stay away from over processed foods. If I lived in a warmer state where I could actually get a good garden to grow i would have even more basic ingredients...but for now ..
Make your own. It's easy and quick once you get the hang of it. It doesn't have to be kneaded. Check out:

It's not difficult to make yourself. All you need is bread flour, instant yeast, salt, sugar, water. It's just a waiting game waiting for the dough to rise, once in the bowl, and once in the tin before baking. I'm 64. Been making bread since I was 15.
This is a great time (after Christmas, people spending their gift money) to check thrift stores for gadgets. Things like bread makers that people received or bought themselves and decided it wasn't for them, or their old models because they leveled up.
We bought an Oster bread maker more than ten years ago from a thrift store for $5. It's still running. Invested in the Bread Machine Bible, very worthwhile. Source your flour carefully and you're set up for the best bread you've ever had, minimal fuss.
The problem is the wheat we get in the US. I know someone who is completely gluten intolerant, yet can eat a little homemade bread in some parts of Europe with no issues.
I have heard that Italian wheat has preserved the ancient strain and they don't allow use of roundup there. Celiac folks can actually eat the bread and pasta made with such wheat and not get sick.
People have no idea what junk food is. They think if they switch from white bread to whole grain they made a significant change. It's still a carb, it's still highly processed, you still don't have a multi-chamber stomach...
Dr. Berg is a modern-day hero.
he is, i suffered from terrible eczema my entire life, skin ruined by the disgusting steroid cream that the quacks dish out, his advice took away all my symptoms in an easy natural way. I have never felt so good to sleep and wake up without the debilitating itching and damage that it causes.

Well for goodness sake, post what you did so that others here may seek relief.

How can you tell if D3 is fake?
Yes. Good infos. Seafood is meat, so yeah fish is included in carni diet. Try to avoid " farm raised " & get " wild caught " tho due to heavy metals.
Heard only good things about carnivore. Are you still on it and do you intend to stay on it forever? I often wonder if people do it for a time to lose weight and improve health, then go back to a "normal" but healthy diet. Thanks for the testimony.

you cannot overdose on vit d3 , it will be something else that the old man, died of. Please find Dr Berg on you tube and do the research.
Alright, I'm glad to hear that. I remember being shocked, but he was taking a big dose.
You can of course get some reaction from high doses but if you watch the videos you will see how difficult it is as the liver has to produce a chemical that allowsVit D to be utilised . most of it will be lost. A crazy Scientologist but I believe his love for health and nutrition is real and the advice I've taken from him has seemingly always been helpful and positive.
Oh, I'm so sad to hear he's into scientology. I will pray for him.

I've always wondered how the scientologists answer this question, "Why do you believe it a religion invented by a science fiction writer?"
Wife started making sourdough bread. Once the starter gets going it becomes a routine. Better for your gut and only three ingredients. flour salt and water.
it's still a carb and it still contains the gliadin protein.
Glyphosate is the real killer.
I have been making long fermented sourdough but I can't tolerate it anymore even with organic unbleached wheat. It tastes good and is easy though and far healthier than other bread if one can tolerate gluten.
Thanks for sharing winn, great info.
As I posted on another thread;
Hienz ketchup ingredients in Ireland; Tomatoes, vinegar, salt, sugar, spices.
That’s it. What’s in the US versions?
Snipes and snails and puppy dogs tails.
Actually mostly sugar. I read they use a different name for the sugar like corn syrup or something.
Yeah, high fructose corn syrup. Fructose is a killer. You should even avoid fruits that contain fructose.
In hindsight, I don’t think he was joking.
I think tongues and butt cheeks is being kind :) I think "made from whatever fell to the floor during processing of the rest of the cow" is closer to the truth :)
Thank God for mustard.
I wish someone around me would sell home made bread so I don't to buy this crap from the store.
I share your appreciation of good homemade bread, it's just hard to find anywhere. Even artisan bakeries that spring up offering "ancient grain" bread that has basic ingredients -- wheat, milk, water, salt -- don't last very long, as most people prefer white bread and other such garbage.
I actually like wheat bread. There's a crunchiness that I like. I just don't want to make it.

It's true, we live busy lives but to be healthy, you need to do all that.

You'd be amazed at how much heat is generated by compost, and how much food will grow in a basic cloche or greenhouse.

Oh. Now I know why I don't make bread. I am a damn impatient.
😃 All good things come to those who wait. We've waited for 4 years for change, 2 hours out of a day is but a drop in the ocean by comparison.
LOL. Yes, yes.

Oh. You actually buy electronic from Thrift Store. You are brave. I never have.
Bread is very easy to make. Just go to youtube and you will find how to make it. The secret is using the right flour.
Ok I will go look.
The problem is the wheat we get in the US. I know someone who is completely gluten intolerant, yet can eat a little homemade bread in some parts of Europe with no issues.
There is scuttlebutt that what people are really allergic to is the pesticide they use on wheat. Glyphosate
I have heard that Italian wheat has preserved the ancient strain and they don't allow use of roundup there. Celiac folks can actually eat the bread and pasta made with such wheat and not get sick.
It is a different strain of wheat that matters for the person I know, but the pesticides don't help any
I know about the wheat problem. You can use ancient grains.
How about foods to eat? Meat.
Is this app only available for Apple right now? I can't find it in the Google Play store.
There’s another one called “Yuka”. Try that one
Thank you muchly, fren! ❤️
Bobby approved app is also very good and free. Helps educate on the bad ingredients to help make better decisions and offers alternative products.

People have no idea what junk food is. They think if they switch from white bread to whole grain they made a significant change. It's still a carb, it's still highly processed, you still don't have a multi-chamber stomach...
Good info. I wish I knew more about seed oils. Are they all bad, and why?
BTW, I try to stick with EV Olive oil for everything.

I just searched for the app he talked about on iPhone in Canada and I don't see it. Maybe our communist leaders are preventing Canadians from access?
