I think if we remove Iran's ability to fund terrorist groups and place them into Palestine as a proxy to attack Israel then these assholes won't be able to use innocent Palestinians to hide behind as shields. Things might have a chance to move someway other than violence if Iran is handled.

In general I agree that we should GTH out of other countries business, but having a territory there would ease tensions in the area. Remember how the Saudis respect Trump. Remember his sword dance after the inauguration. This is likely something he has been working on for a while. And as he says, if something doesn't change, it will just continue, which was a complete dis to Israel and Netanyahu imo. But my caveat was and is, that the people have to be willing. And considering they are living a hellish existence, it might just be that yes, they are willing. Time will tell.
I’ll tell ya what. If California exploded overnight and I somehow survived I would most definitely rather be offered to move somewhere else than trying to wait for a demolition site to be cleaned up. Not to mention the horrible memories one must have after living through war in that place. As much as they may love their land they have to face facts that it’s been destroyed. And with everything that’s happen it may be a good idea for both sides to have some distance and not be neighbors anymore. Tough times requires tough measures.
