Title says it all. My parents respectfully called asking me to be diligent in regards to my unvaccinated children. Thought we could get a discussion going. I don’t know much about them except that people in the past have had them and did just fine.
Edit to add: I knew there’d be some seasoned pedes here at GAW that live to tell their measles story. Thank you! I just hope this isn’t some newly released monster strain. We’re at war and crazy mad scientist stuff like wouldn’t surprise me.
I had measles when I was a child and lived to tell the tale. Along with a lot of other kids (along with chicken pox and mumps). Never heard of anyone dying. 70 years ago, it was an expected disease of childhood that we would simply grow out of, with some discomfort.
Yes, as a sixties child I had measles as did my five siblings. Chicken pox also. But we also had a stay at home mother who took care of us. Ppl don't want to be inconvenienced with sick kids.
Sadly this is very true. They have to make money for the man and keep food (if that’s what you want to call it) on the table.
Yep, and there were measles parties. No biggy for kids, but I think it’s a bit worse for adults.
Possibly so, but then the adults can take the vaccine if they are so concerned and have not had it as a child. Once they started making flu vaccinations available, I became skeptical. They were free at work so I took them initially, then stopped taking them. A vaccine for something that is not normally lethal and only needs to be endured for a few days? Of course, Covid made skepticism a life preserver. I absolutely do not accept gene modification as a "vaccine."
zigackly fren, I remember orange-flavored child aspirins, and some weird hallucinations. Otherwise fine.
Same. I'm 71 and still here through measles, chicken pox and mumps.
every single time the msm goes nuts about the measels, nobody ever reports it's 100% illegal immigrants
every single time.
Yep. About 10 years ago there was a measles outbreak over 100 kids. They released that patient zero was a "new arrival" to Canada... and then they never did that again.
Avoid all vaccinations at all costs.
My oldest stopped at 5 years of age, my middle at 3 and my youngest is 100% pure blood. I wish my older children had the pure blood status but we just weren’t as informed then. Still, they are better off than most.
Congrats. Resistance requires courage. They will thank you for it.
I sure hope so, having to make decisions during this psyop hasn’t been for the weak, but I know we are doing right for our kids. You still get scared though when you hear things like this. It’s my sole purpose to keep them safe and I want to make sure I’m well informed.
The only real danger is if your kids become adults and then get the measles. It can make the males sterile. But, there are homeopathic remedies for measles that work. Or, as an adult they can take a vaccine during an outbreak. But, don't give the vaccine to a child. Extremely bad for their immune system.
Yeah, the mmr vaccine is terrible. I bet it’s the one that really amps up autism.
My sons didn't get any vaccines and they were fine. Trust your heart on this one. I too hesitated when the Dr told me the risks. My sons were going into Jr high. I gave them homeopathic remedies for measles. But, I don't know if that was even needed.
Excellent. Just the basic concept, that a pharmaceutical company can "improve" a healthy child's natural immunity, is insane on it's face -- and 100% marketing. Then, there's the issue of them making money treating VAXXX injuries -- that they caused. RFKJr is onto this evil. For the first time, I'm hopeful for VAXXX truth. Thank God for informed parents like you. The next generation depends on them.
Same as usual. They had a vaccination drive, and then a measles outbreak happened.
My Dad got a shingles vaxx, Mom got shingles 2 weeks later.
Is this something you’ve read. I’d love to see the sauce on this. That would be a real eye opener to a lot of people. I was reading earlier that the vaccine is a live vaccine, which from my understanding gives you a little of the virus.
Yes, can't remember where, but finding it should be straightforward. It happened, obviously, recently.
It's the same from the beginning. All the 'vaxx preventable' diseases were mostly eradicated with proper sanitation. Then when the shots started there was a huge bump in the numbers. There are graphs online, I have backups somewhere.
Another crazy thing to dig is the Geneva plague of 1530 or 1590.
Sorry I can't help with the sauce, busy right now, I'll check back later tonight if you need help fren.
Thanks for all this info. Great talking points I can use to do some research. Appreciate it.
No problem, let me know if you have trouble finding some good sauce.
If you want some proper ammo for the chat with your fam get the ingredient lists.
You may find formaldehyde, mercury, aluminum, SV40, monkey kidney, aborted fetus cells, etc.
Eye of newt, toe of frog, wool of bat and tongue of dog.
Ok, I made up the last four. Still, sounds like some Shakespearean double double toil and trouble to me.
Hi. I thought I'd respond to your question. I was watching President Trump's First Cabinet Meeting today and this question was brought up by the media.
(The White House channel on Youtube at about 58ish minutes, on the Live tab.)
RFK Jr. answered the question and said it is mostly in the Mennonite community in Gaines County, Texas. There are 124 people that have it so far. There have been 2 deaths and there are 20 in the hospital but mostly for quarantine reasons. RFK Jr. pointed out that there are 4 cases so far this year but that there were 16 cases last year, & it is not unusual for measles outbreaks to happen.
Immediately after, they said he sounded under the weather. He explained that he has permanent throat damage. They immediately brushed him off and moved on to another question for President Trump.
Boy, that REALLY pissed me off.
First of all, they didn't like RFK Jr. coming at them with facts that its not as bad as they are making it out to be, but then to say he sounds under the weather REALLY rubbed me the wrong way because they damn well know he has a permanent throat disability, & then to blow him off after he answered really torqued me even more.
It really irks me how people with disabilities are so badly treated.
I despise the media with my every cell.
edit to change redundancy in my one paragraph. :)
Thank you for your response. I’m guessing since it’s in a Mennonite community they will say the outbreak is due to the unvaccinated.
You’re exactly right about the under the weather comment. What idiots. They’re always trying to change the subject if they don’t get the answers they want to hear.
Have you ever heard of measles parties?
I had it as a child circa 1957-58. Almost all the children got it. It was miserable, then it was gone for good. A common childhood disease that no one worried much about.
It's because RFK Jr. is now in charge of HHS. The media hasn't changed. Nothing has changed except for a few layoffs and cooling-off of some narratives. The usual suspects are still creating public health scare psyops in order to push vaccines. RFK showing up to the government party has kicked their propaganda engines into overdrive gear.
I thought this too. They are trying to make him look as bad as they possibly can.
I did hear today that it was affecting the Amish who typically do not vaccinate their children. I could see that as very probable, brought into our country by the illegal aliens.
I wonder if it’s a big psyop to try to make non vaccinated look bad since RFK is now in charge. I believe absolutely nothing reported anymore.
Agree with you there.
I've had measles, mumps, chicken pox, and whooping cough as a young child and I'm still alive. I had a big family and we all got the childhood diseases with no lasting ill effects.
Whats to worry about. Unless your children have no immune system. The kids that had the vax have likely no immune so it would be bad for them. Tell your parents that. If they had the vax they are in danger.
Greatt response. My kids have great immune systems. This makes logical sense. I appreciate it.
Vitamin A is helpful in treating measles.
Wonder if the recent outbreak was caused by a Vit A deficiency in the population.
WA state had an outbreak years ago, (beofre Covid) the state went crazy and made the MMR shot no longer able to be exempted for school attendance. If I recall, it was only vaxed kids getting the measles in that outbreak, yet everyone and their uncle's pig was blaming the pure bloods.
Interesting you say this, because when I was researching earlier I wondered if the people getting the measles now are the vaccinated ones.
Measles is a childhood disease. I suppose everyone has had them that i over 12. What does the vaccine do? I'll bet it does not prevent them!
I remember it well. The measles. I remember the ointment and that I had to remain in a darkened room. I do not have any memory of pain or extreme illness, like a high fever.
I'd like to know the demographics of those who have the measles.
I wondered this too. I’m wondering if the people getting the measles currently are vaccinated.
I'm wondering if they are even citizens...
I had measles and chickenpox as a child. Measles: all I really remember is I got to stay home from school and spent most of my time outside swinging on our glider. Chickenpox: they ITCHED something fierce, but mom painted me with some pink stuff that helped. I do not remember feeling “sick.”
Ah, yes. Calamine lotion.
In the 60s & 70s, measles, mumps, and chicken pox were almost expected in children.
You don't need a vaccine. Your immune system can kill all of these things if it's not compromised.
I’m 72 and got measles, mumps and chicken pox when I was young in the 50’s. My mom actually made us eat off of each other’s plates to get them while we’re young.
I don’t remember much about having them, but I believe you are sick a couple of weeks or so which most parents these days can’t tolerate if both of them work.
I had a very mild cases of chicken pox as a toddler and my mom said she wouldn’t have even known I had it but had two small spots on my butt cheeks I I was scratching when another older sibling in the family had come down with it.
Most kids do fine when they get these diseases. It’s worse if you get them when you’re an adult.
I wouldn’t stress about the measles unless your kids are older. The younger they are the better
Thanks for your response. I have a 10,8, and 2 year old. They all have healthy immune systems.
Vaccinated and still ended up getting measles as a child (mid 1980)
I never had it but my understanding is it was rather similar to chicken pox, which I did get.
Brady Bunch measles clip helps for context: https://youtu.be/5289k-dbOMY
Do not ignore the risks of measles. When I was a medical student and young doctor I occasionally worked in measles wards, mainly children. Many were extremely sick and deaths were not uncommon. The risk is probably magnified by malnutrition and especially lack of vitamins A and D. If you are threatened by an outbreak read up about the disease and the risk factors.
I will, thank you. I want to be well informed and would never ignore the risks. Agreed, it is probably magnified by other factors. Of course, the msm would never add that to their fear porn.
Hey fren. I know I saw this late and glad to see you're staying strong for your kids. I just commented on another post after a little memory dig and I'll post my comment below, but I would suggest to up vitamins during the winter season for your kids. I've seen in other posts vitamin A and I would suggest vitamin D too as that is a huge one that leads to all sorts of illnesses if you lack it. Have those kids get sunshine, especially in northern areas. Also, know that these outbreaks usually only last maybe 4 months. A lot is propaganda to increase jabs in kids. Focus on good diet, vitamins, etc.
---------my comment on another post---------------------------------------
Measles seems to be a WINTER disease/outbreak......and during a Presidential switch no less (at least for the ones I remember). Why is that?
Remember when they had the measles outbreak at Disney? Yeah, I bet most don't. It was hyped up like measles is trying to be hyped again and I'm pretty sure there were a couple of other times people freaked out about a small outbreak of measles. There was a craze to have college students get jabbed too at one point.

Remember- Everything they ever told you is a lie.
In the 60's and 70's every child got measles. Parents would actually take their kids to meet up with other kids that had the measles so their kids could get measles at a convenient time (timed around summer school break or vacation etc.)
I wish I could find a study I read detailing how after children had measles about a month later they would go through a growth spurt accompanied by basically much better BMI over a prolonged period of time. Unfortunately vaccine encouragment on the internet sucks the oxygen out of the room so badly that finding anything in support of a child getting measles is overpower by TPTB encouraging vaccine uptake.
Mercola is always a great souce. From 2019-
Measles Propaganda Can Have Dire Public Health Ramifications Mar 20, 2019 https://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2019/03/20/measles-vaccine-mandatory.aspx • The annual numbers of reported measles cases since 2000 have ranged from a low of 37 in 2004 to a high of 667 in 2014. By March 7, 2019, a total of 228 measles cases had been reported across the U.S. • The last recorded measles-associated death in the U.S. occurred in 2015. Before the measles vaccine was developed, the annual death toll from reported measles cases in the U.S. was between 450 and 500 • In 2016, 20,360 children aged 1 to 19 died. Motor vehicle crashes, firearm-related injuries, cancer, suffocation, drowning, drug overdoses, heart disease and chronic respiratory disease are the major causes of child deaths • Recent research shows that when measles infection is delayed, negative outcomes are 4.5 times worse than would be expected in a prevaccine era in which the average age at infection would have been lower • A March 5, 2019, U.S. Senate hearing on measles outbreaks and vaccine exemptions centered around the testimony of five witnesses in favor of vaccine mandates. Hundreds of people, a majority mothers of vaccine injured children, remained unheard, and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was prevented from speaking on the grounds that the hearing was full
I'm gonna say fake, in that while some people have measles, it is likely vax driven (read Marcella Piper-Terry on FB, she just posted a lengthy piece on this and is a good one to follow) AND that those who have it are likely NOT being treated properly in that no one is giving vit A. Instead recommending more massive and widespread jabs which will hurt more kids and be blamed on "measles".
Thank you! I will look her up. Isn’t it crazy. I knew it had to be fake. What you just said is crazy but so perfect for the world we’re living in. “Give them more jabs!” Most everyone’s issues are due to vitamin and mineral deficiencies. When I went through my awakening years ago I knew something was off when my doctor flat out refused to check my vitamin and mineral levels and got weirdly defensive when I continued to push the issue. Instead she diagnosed me with fibromyalgia and pushed some heavy meds on me. I changed my lifestyle and now do not deal with the debilitating pain I had then.
I and everyone of any one I knew and didn't know, had measles. Spots on body, NO BIG DEAL. Chix Pox, Mumps, but as we played in the dirt we got a lot of antibodies, AND we ate food that had no poison in it and no added sugars to hook us on! Heck, we didn't even have deserts after suppers unless it was a holiday or company.
Some good vaccine information-
https://learntherisk.org/vaccines/diseases/
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/9824838/
From Pub Med article above- febrile infectious childhood diseases (FICDs) " The study consistently revealed a lower cancer risk for patients with a history of FICD. The strongest associations were found between patients with non-breast cancers and rubella respectively chickenpox. A strong association was also found with the overall number of FICD both 'classical' (measles, mumps, rubella, pertussis, scarlet-fever and chickenpox) and 'other'. "
There was a "Brady Bunch" episode where they got measles. They all died and that was the end of the show. /s.
Oh wait, that is the netflix version. I think they all itched or something.
This is absolutely hysterical. Thanks for the laugh.
Measles is no big deal. Annoying
