Not particularly surprising. And Denmark isnāt officially Catholic so Pope Francis is hardly to blame for that one. Though heās at a fault for a lot. Official State Church is Lutheran.
As to the reasons why? Turns out generic notions of Western Liberal values and a firm rejection of national, cultural, and ethnic heritage. With those same policies and rhetoric parroted by the Church and Political figures.
On top of the youth regularly seeing their opportunities disappear. Including the option of owning a house. Isnāt a particularly stable foundation to build a modern country on.
all good observations, my lineage having come from denmark. the real shame is the one guy who was making huge strides in the denmark christian community (Torben Sondergaard) was viciously attacked, resulting in laws stifling normal christian behaviors. They attempted to arrest Torben (for being too christian) so he fled to the US where denmark persued him and was able to get Torben thrown in prison for over a year- with no charges against him. They made the mistake of letting Torben go and he immediately fled to MEXICO (of all places) where he is currently seeing huge christian revivals break out everywhere he goes. His organization "The Last Reformation" continues in its mission, while satan howls in anger, relentlessly defaming him and his organization.
meanwhile, satan claims denmark as its vassal prize. there are pastors there who know better but are cowards. the islamic satan, now rules denmark, with france and germany poised to quickly follow. when you kick god out, the spiritual advantage always goes to satan and he'll quickly destroy you. you ignore or misinterpret the spiritual realm, you will be destroyed.
Churches are paid by the state in Denmark through taxes - so if they speak up they will get shut down. Private churches are in the minority in Denmark if they exist at all anymore that is.
true true. its the state religion for now. soon to be islam. islam is a combination of lazy and violence. the combination allows it to spread like wildfire. most are lazy in understanding the islamic precepts mainly because their texts and beliefs are preposterous. if you read their texts and realize its a fraud, you get the violence. even if you don't push back intellectually, they'll still do violence- because they love it. its what happens when you become possessed of demons.
I agree with a few others. They were never Christians to begin with. If they were, they would know the truth. Once you know truth, youāll never accept a lie. You can pretend.
Most Danes are raised within the church so to speak. They are given the Christian identity through baptisms. The National church in Denmark is Lutheran and Danes are automatically members unless they opt out of paying the 1% church tax. No one really goes to church other than maybe for Christmas, baptisms, weddings and funerals. Majority of the Danish teens will also get confirmed within the church although this is mainly chosen because itās part of the culture so all their friends are confirmed too and itās sort of a stepping stone into becoming an adult (itās also when Danes are first introduced to alcohol - at age 13..!!) but itās basically just as a way for them to have a big party with presents and money gifts - not really a pure sincere choice into accepting Jesus Christ. Thatās their religious culture. All for show and no roots. Danes are sheeps of the church silently being led away from its core values. Most if any have a personal relationship with Christ. The church in Denmark provides very boring washed down sermons. You will see 2-3 old ladies on the bench every Sunday and thatās it. No one else goes and no one in Denmark seems to be growing in their relationships with Christ. Itās no wonder the youth today is so easily deceived. I was once one of them as I grew up in Denmark and I feel blessed to be in the USA which I believe is a true anointed country of God. Majority of Americans have God in their hearts. Thatās why I Love America šŗšø Donāt get me wrong - Denmark is a lovely country - but sadly the people are loosing their morals and essence.
I donāt really agree with āmajority of Americans have Christ in their heartā. Iād have to disagree with that whole heartily. When you see the percentages of how many people live in areas known to be heavily Christian based, and you see like only 10-15% actually in church. Itās sad numbers. Theyāll call themselves Christians, but donāt practice their faith hardly at all. Not saying you have to be in church to be a Christian, but if one doesnāt suit, you find another. Scripture says to be with āthe churchā. Worshipping together. Imo, America has toss God and the teaching of Christ down the toilet. Itās bad when a person from a Muslim country, persecuted because of their Christian faith, comes to America, and is excited to be able to practice their faith openlyā¦and after a few years, wants to go back to the areaās of persecution. And remarks āyou have Satan dancing down the aisles of American churchesāā¦and she aināt wrong. Your remark is a beautiful one. Just sadly, we aināt their. America should be the shining example. Maybe one day we will be. Until then, we keep trying.
Church attendance doesn't equal belief. This is a pet peeve of mine. Just because someone doesn't attend a physical church they don't have Christ in their heart? So I assume none of the apostles had Christ in their heart since they were basically wandering vagrants most of their life?
Every single person in the 1800s that took part in westward expansion "wasn't a real Christian" because they settled the frontier, where there wouldn't be a physical church for decades at a time?
Believe it or not, even during the founding years of the USA, only about 10-20% of the population actively attended church, but 80-90% were Christian and held Christian beliefs.
WHY you may ask? For the same simple reason that church attendance is down, but Christian conversion and identification is UP in the USA in today's current religious field.
People don't like corruption and they don't like what they can't relate to. For me personally, I stopped going to church when EVERY church around me started preaching that we HAD, not should, but HAD to take the jab when it came out. Not a single one of them thought "Hey, what if this is the mark of the beast?"
I had fools actually BRAGGIN about taking boosters in church, and the turn their nose up at me because I said I hadn't taken any jab, much less a booster. Of course this is just one example, but this is relatable to many people with similar experiences to myself.
Another problem, and this was true of the church I went to before I stopped actively going to church, they don't even really preach anymore. Like every other sunday they had some "guest speaker" who was there to shill and beg for money for some cause. It always made me angry being guilted into listening to some fool rant about how "it's such a great cause" so donate donate donate. And then the next sunday, the "message" would be more begging. "People need to pay tithes" and blah blah blahd.
I later found out that this was because the moronic preacher had put the church into an excessive amount of debt trying to "keep up with the Johnsons" and had tried to buy an adjacent property, upgrade the buildings and facilities and renovate, them, etc. etc. And I normally wouldn't have a problem with this if it was DISCUSSED with the church, which it wasn't, he and a handful of deacons decided on it themselves with zero discussion, but the part that just completely killed it for me it that a few years before we had come together as a church and everyone SCRAPED together everything we could spare to pay off our churches debt that had been hanging over it for more than a decade.
Had a whole big debt paper burning celebration and everything. Then a few years later, they go and put themselves into EVEN MORE DEBT than before without consulting anyone and start begging for everyone to bail them out when everything fell through.
Of course I know this is just MY experience in the past several years, but it's not an uncommon one. People, especially younger people, are tired of corruption and hypocrisy in churches. That's why church attendance among youth, and really across the board, is down. It's basically become a weekly "club" for the old boomers who go there and brag about themselves instead of a place of worship with God and Jesus at the center.
On the OTHER hand, online Church attendance is at an all time high. We live in a digital age, so digital churches are the obvious next step. I, and many others my age and even older and younger than me, have simply opted to just look to the connectivity provided by the internet for churches. When you have essentially infinite options, all you have to do is put in the effort until the Lord leads you to one the resonates with you. I now more or less attend a Church in Australia through online attendance and interaction, because the pastor is based and actually makes everything about Jesus. I've literally never ONCE heard him shill for other organization, or beg for money. The only thing he's ever said on the topic is that God will take care of him and his church, so he doesn't need to beg. People will give what God wills them to give, and it's true. His church now gets donations from all over the world, because he ACTUALLY preaches God's word instead of making church into some kind of "boomer meet and greet club".
Bit of a rant I know, but I LOATHE when people say ridiculous things like this. You don't have to physically go to church to be a Christian. Being a Christian is dependent on ONE thing, accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. That's it. Church attendance doesn't matter. It's GOOD to fellowship with your fellow Christians, but that fellowship doesn't require a physical building. And often these days, churches are corrupt and full of "non preaching", so why bother giving them your time and money if they're not in line with God's word?
No I get it. As I said in my other post about going to church(a building) doesnāt make you a Christian. No I understand that completely. And some people have had terrible moments in a church setting. But gathering is in the Bible. Hebrews, Matthew, Acts. Itās very important. Even as you said, outside a church setting. Perfectly fine. Jesus WANTS us to be together. Not sitting by ourselves watching a video. Itās fine for a time, but find something to gather together with other Christians. People are distancing themselves from each other. This is not a good thing for the church. And Iām not talking about the building. The church is the body. The people. The bride of Christ. We need to be together. A Christ follower, imo, should always be finding a way to gather in worship with other Christians. To not do this is dangerous. This coming from a new Christian. Iāve learned how important this is. Is how we learn to forgive. To accept. How to live along with others and learn to step out of our comfort zones and spread the word. You wonāt get that sitting behind a screen in your pjās. How can Christians face the world, when we hide from it? Not saying you, but those who refuse to gather to worship God. Trust me, Satan wants us divided. Wants us alone. People will say Iām not alone, I have Jesus. And Jesus is saying GET WITH OTHER CHRISTIANS! Jesus knows and understands how weāll be attacked. And only together can we stand strong. Together, can we accomplish our mission. Jesus never meant for us to be alone in this, He encourages unity. Doesnāt mean a building every Sunday. But find a place to gather. Itās important.
There is a great vibe when praying together that I miss when online. But then I couldn't even do yoga classes online. I found a class that stayed open because we were 6 feet apart, but not a church.
Truth be told, organized religion has an agenda, just like everything else -- and it isn't what you think. At one point in my life, I switched churches because my old church no longer aligned with my beliefs. The new church I joined would collect money for mission work which was sent to the main headquarters...which I later discovered was being used to fund and arm revolutionaries in other countries. That was the end of donating to mission work for me. We got a new pastor who greatly increased the size of the congregation and was beloved by all. He married a woman preacher and a couple of years later, she moved out of the parsonage and divorced him. Most of the congregation blamed her for the split...until it came out that the pastor was gay and had cheated on her with other men that he was picking up at a bar. I have since become disillusioned with organized religion, but it hasn't changed my belief and faith in God.
Yea I get that. Ive heard, an exhausting amount of reasons people have had to not go to church anymore. And I donāt blame them of course. But I feel they should continue to ask God for somewhere they can worship, that is a good place or fit for them. Where they can grow and such. Personally my faith is still new, only a few years now. And I prayed for a home to call my church and honestly, where Iām at is amazing. Itās really my first church. The comment I referred to earlier about āmajority have Christ in their heartā, my church has that. My preacher preaches straight out of the Bible. So his message is always been great. As he says, Iām just relaying the message. That Jesus is the teacher, and weāre all here learning. Even himself. Weāre all flawed. We all sin. And we should all take care of each other. I feel truly God gave me a great church. And even on top of that, I have a sister church I help every now and the. Also, the people I know there, amazing. Iām truly blessed. And I feel for those who have had bad experiences. I wanna say, keep trying. Because I really donāt know what else to say. I hate youāve had these issues. People are gonna people. Christianās arenāt perfect by no means. I believe in forgiveness. I make mistakes to. I just remind myself to always be ready to kindness and love in my heart for those who upset me. Who I feel have wronged me and or others. No matter their sin. We aim to be Christ-like. And itās hard. I would just say pray for a new church. God will place you where you need to be. Maybe that particular church will have a dirtier problem. And maybe you or someone else is suppose to step up? I donāt know. But thank you for your post.
It's been going on here in the UK the last few years too, I've noticed it through my work with Social Services. They get young muslim men to make friends with young British men, usually who are vulnerably through poor upbringings and trauma, and behave and dress etc around them in a normal 'Western' way, convincing them that Islam doesn't have to be strict and oppressive etc. then once they 'convert' the real programming begins.
Tbh I think these people have no clue what ārulesā they are signing up to obey. Many euros are complete ignorants and the ones converting must be brain dead being so removed from their own cultural roots.
I agree. They donāt seem in agreement with what they are experiencing. The article states they are all classmates which has me wondering if their teacher pushed them into this and played it off as a āclass tripā to learn about other cultures in their country.
Update: this is exactly what happened. It was a class trip which explains the looks on their faces. They didnāt willingly go. Their teachers made them go there to force feed this them. Still wrong but at least this group didnāt convert (many other Danes have though sadly)
Yeah ... Just like the Tat, eating at the Mac during Covid and taking a death jab ....
it is emotion based. the daughter of a friend of mine also converted. It is usually in a context of trouble at home.
On the other hand, those who have clear heads based on a freedom loving upbringing piss on such idiocy and go the other way.
I do not mind the EU going down the drain. The consequent internal trouble with these stupid policy brought in mass-immigrants .... yeah ... that is going to be some issue.
Attention I have some clarity on this post as I look into this one some more and it appears this ceremony was only a school visit (still it seems inappropriate for teachers to take children to this sort of thing as itās not of Danish culture but that of immigrants). There are however still an uprising in Danes converting and Iām sure itās happening all over the Western Europe. I did find some stats and the conversion rate in Denmark from Christianity to Islam is around 5% (up from 1% just a few years ago) so it is happening. Very sad to see Danes willingly letting go of their country.
When they find out how much constant daily effort and virulent anti-homosexuality are involved in practicing islam (including acknowledging a higher power than themselves instead of being self-centered, sex-obsessed, spoiled rotten brats), they'll drop it like a bad habit.
Islam culture is in stark contrast to that of Danish teen culture where they start drinking at their Christ confirmations at age 13, most are promiscuous from that age on as well and they certainly donāt dress the way they ought to as good Muslims. Iām sure there are many other cultural conflicts and these kids have no clue what they are committing themselves to. They are in for a rude awakening..and once they do wake up it could be too late.
A lot of them may be a bit regretful after the honeymoon period when they find out that Islam tends to take things a bit more seriously than European Churches have for a long time now, and they are actually supposed to obey the rules of that religion, like not consuming alcohol or trying out several sex partners before considering marrying. Sure there may be some who actually find the tight rules sort of comforting, but a lot of them are probably doing that more as a lark rather than having any serious conversion, because it seems like something of a trend and others are doing it and they want to stay fashionable, and maybe a bit rebellious etc. and sooner or later they will want to revert back to the more fun freer lifestyles, if they even ever really wanted to give those up.
Which is exactly what Islam aims to do. Europeans has become so dull they donāt even need to be forced through violence into Islam anymore. They just willingly go almost as if they unconsciously know there is no other way for them to survive. I guess this is what happens when you disarm the people and make them forget about God and who they really are. They turn into silent obedient sheep willing to follow any command set by their oppressors.
We see the same effect in Germany. Young people just get their faces kicked in, girls can no longer move around in public spaces as they did in previous
generations. They conform because they are not supported by society, its institutions and their parents.
Fuck those Euro trash cocksuckers then. Retards were obviously not Christian to begin with. Let the righteous be righteous still and let the filthy be filthy still. They just showing their true colors.
These are the kids in Denmark. They have no clue what they are doing. Deep down Danes are good people but sadly it seems they are starting to loose their way completely. Itās their parents fault for not standing up to evil politicians advocating for open borders when they had the chance. I remember my parents always complaining about the politicians while I grew up in Denmark. But it was all talk no action and when election came around they still voted for the socialist democrats because they have become accustomed to the Danish welfare system and would fear loosing that if the opposition came into power (free healthcare, free schools, money for going to school, monthly checks to parents for their kids, welfare etc) Danes have gotten to a point they donāt feel they can make it without the government. Itās a sad situation and itās what will keep them blind or ignorant to corruption despite it being right in front of their eyes. And even if they do wake up they will find themselves helpless as they have given away their rights to defend themselves and currently free speech is being made illegal all through Europe.
it's the new trans.
get that, just another fad
Exactly...look at me, I'm specialā¦mentally ill.
Maybe these white women will learn their place... lol

I'm thinking the guys there don't like goats as much as Islamist do.
These poor kids. I feel esp sorry for these young girls. Please pray for all of them.
The internet has ruined a few generations of kids. They are in for a rude awakening.
No surprise.
Far more Danes are embracing their Viking heritage, and I mean by a lot.
Self preservation. If your government wonāt kick them out or prosecute their crimes, join them.
How did Bosnia become muslim??
Under Islam rule: Remain Christian, have your property confiscated and be persecuted.
Convert, and be able to live and earn a living.
In fact, this is what happened to the entire country known today as turkey.
Bingo. All by design.
Yup.
Oh, it's the cool thing to do, right? Fucking retards are going to get killed and raped.
We see the same effect in Germany. Young people just get their faces kicked in, girls can no longer move around in public spaces as they did in previous generations. They conform because they are not supported by society, its institutions and their parents.
They look like terrorist and confused at the same time. Lol. What morons.
I know you are correct. I am just a bitter asshole at this point. Thanks for leveling me out a bit. God save them.
RIP Denmark
