Prayers sent for the billions of Chinese people who will be caught up in this mess, but it has to be done. May the CCP and all communist or socialist governments worldwide fall once and for all! Unsustainable and only propped up by us! Same for the "utopia" Euro nations the libs always cry about running off to. They wouldn't exist in their current form without our money

Next time someone says how evil the CCP is just remember they still exist because of our money and crooked politicians like Bill Clinton who sold us out to them!

Exactly! Now Trump is having to deal with the monster we created and continue to fund. As far as the CCP, their main problem is that they started believing their own propaganda; the land of fakes and facades. They can do nothing without stealing it from someone else - mainly the US - and even then they cannot reach the level of our innovation and process. I am just glad that finally people are finally waking up to the CCP danger and threat.

B-61 bomb come to mind?

Maybe not that specific one, but something like that.

The Clinton regime was one thing after another. Something pops up in the news, then there's a major event. We had the Waco firebombing event, the OK City bombing, shootings, Y2K, the OJ trial (never let a tragedy go to waste), surplus firearm and ammo imports bans, the Monica Lewinsky scandal, etc.

Anyway, there was something about nuclear secrets being stolen by China hitting the MSM in 1995, as I recall, and that was an ongoing story but Bill Clinton dismissed it and it just didn't get the attention it deserved. It seemed pretty obvious to some of us at the time that China was being allowed to steal our military secrets.

https://www.sfgate.com/news/article/Chinese-Spy-Scandal-in-U-S-Nuclear-Lab-2943427.php

I didn't know the specific details, but I remember when it was discovered that HDDs containing nuclear secrets disappeared from a lab and were later found misplaced behind a cabinet or something (it's been a while, details are fuzzy). The Clintons glossed over that as well.

Found this story about the HDDs:

That pissed me off as well. The big selling point was the huge Chinese market. The only problem is historically, the huge Chinese market has never been more than a pipe dream. 150 years of trying to pry open that market. Either people don't understand that market, or there never was that much of one to begin with.

I think that market is simply a large labor force that the western central bank wanted access to.

That is another area where the CCP has scammed the entire world in order to attract investment. They never had 1.4 billion people. In addition, several hundreds of millions of people have died from whatever lab created bug and their own clot shots that have been decimating the population. Estimates are that China's population is actually somewhere in the neighborhood of 500 to 800 million people. Don't believe any of the CCP's official stats. They are all manipulated. The US is finally starting to realize that as well. Everything is not as what they have portrayed.

They literally lie about everything... and have no remorse about it.

Same with intellectual property. They want a cookie for how well they copied the original and duplicated a cheaper diet Coke version.

I was recently looking at 42" chainsaws. They sell an EXACT copy of the $3k+ Stihl saw, where the parts are completely interchangeable between the knock off and genuine article, available on Amazon for around $500.

They've completely hollowed out so many bread and butter US companies and our legal system didn't protect any of us. It's traitorously sinful.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 6 ▼
– mac1221 6 points 1 year ago +6 / -0

Agreed. The worst part of it is that the knockoffs are just that - a cheap knockoff that has no where near the same quality. They are not equivalent. The Chinese cut corners and they don't care. They live in a society of mutual harm that is justified as long as you make money. You cannot trust them. They also justify lying for profit.

I was hearing that Russians are pissed at the poor quality of Chinese goods that they are forced to buy because there are no alternatives due to the sanctions. There were saw blades to cut metal that shattered as soon they made contact with the metal. The cars rust and the suspensions are useless in Russia. Western products still in the country demand a high premium and the Russians prefer them.

Americans are also getting a rude awakening with cheap Chinese E-commerce products that aren't even close to what they thought they purchased. You get what you pay for. Some people that ordered cheap electronics had their homes burned down because those products caught fire. Much of the clothing and other items are toxic. Why that stuff was even allowed in the country is beyond me. If an American company tried selling products like that they would be up the creek. Trump's actions are a quick way to protect Americans. Kudos. Enough is enough. The Chinese are getting a taste of what happened to us because of them. Now the shoe is on the other foot.

The damage done to our markets is multifaceted.

First, uneducated (and uninformed) consumers, who don't value quality, nearly always gravitate towards the cheaper alternative. These are the ones where everything boils down to face value dollars and cents - you know the type, "How much was that... what did that cost...oh I can get that much cheaper from China etc.

It's been a "race to the bottom" on so many fronts, and it's only compounded as the gravy train if cheap imports evolved. It started with dollar stores and hoarding. Cheap bullshit for children's parties, gift bags, matching plates and everything for dirt cheap. Then it crept into just about every other retail market - where in many cases people were just hoarding shit they really didn't need, simply because it was "too cheap to pass up... so I bought 8..." It became a drug.

Then just about ANYTHING you could ever want - including OBSCURE specialty tools - could be had for a fraction of what the original would cost you. In some cases it wasn't a big deal, because you'd never buy the real McCoy anyway - since it'd only see occasional use, but in many cases, the original manufacturer was completely bypassed and Americans became cheerleaders for some of these industrial/commercial tools (practically tongue bathing the Chinese agent who helped broker the deal) - and American tool makers repeatedly got kicked in the teeth. It didn't matter that American tools were better and longer lasting, it all boiled down to how cheap everything was ... and with really no tech support on this end, a few learned their lesson the hard way... but things improved.

Now, due to dollar stores, not so cheap anymore average quality Chinese shit, many American tool makers went out if business or are severely hurting. Same with many other sectors of the markets - yeah there's still some cheap crap to be had, but it's not like it was 10 years ago - but the damage to the MENTALITY of your average consumer is done. Most, who don't work with their hands or produce ANYTHING AT ALL tangible, because they push paper or resell Chinese shit - have absolutely NO CLUE what it takes to make ANYTHING.

They have no idea what the material alone costs producers in this country - at jobber price even - and they clutch their pearls when you quote them on custom work. "Oh jeez .. I know you have overhead and everything, but I thought it'd be closer to like fifty bucks" pfft ...dude, I ain't getting out if my pajamas for less than $150. Taxes, regulations, insurance, not to mention supplies and consumables etc - Most people are WAY out of touch. I blame both govt officials that were SUPPOSED to be protecting us from foreign imports ("garage bands/weekend warriors" are getting their side hustles squashed by chinky home goods too!) - AND I blame the middleman WHORES who took designs to be made overseas instead of here, to keep their community working.

Now EVERYTHING is hollowed out - SO MUCH TALENT has been lost from lack of use or because nobody wanted to pay a fair wage when they could have a pajeet do the artwork or drawing for a few dollars and chang will have a couple 5 year olds make it with their feet. The war against the white man is real and it's come from every direction... including within.

While I think these tariffs are a step in the right direction, they're certainly not the entire solution. Don't ask me how we're going to fix people's warped sense of what things are worth or get them to understand that you can't live in America on Chinese slave wages. It just doesn't work that way... AND add to that how they're literally killing us with our own tax dollars and funding the competition! Something has to give - ESPECIALLY on the grassroots level - main Street or whatever. A LOT of good Americans who WANT TO BE PRODUCTIVE have been kicked in the balls repeatedly for a long, long time.

I want to see things change in the work department for US as in YOU, ME our neighbors and especially their kids - who won't ever own a house at the current rate things are going. I feel a return to American quality, heirloom goods might just be our only viable solution going forward. Things that last. Enough of the disposable shit - things that are robust, serviceable and things that proudly display, Made in the USA - like it means something. We have a LOT of talented people here just itching to produce... but it takes support from within.

I dunno... maybe I'm the ahole... I always bought and still do, American vehicles. I did my research, knowing which is the "best bet" for reliability and so far, I've done well. I always think about my fellow Americans - and keeping them working. It's not the 70s/80s anymore. Japanese and Korean shit breaks just as much as anything else now. I just towed my friend's tundra with my Chevy last week after it died...case in point. People need to understand that making things here AND buying things here, only helps them in the long run. Who's going to sponsor little league, the CCP? Pfft ....

Well said fren and I agree. It is going to be a tough road ahead as a society to break the addiction to cheap disposable consumer goods and making products of quality not destined for the land fill every couple of years - if it even lasts that long. But it is hard to find products in the US that are made well. In order to compete, we too have given in to the cheap Chinese model.

I am old enough to remember the days when my father repaired household appliances himself if they had a problem. Just about everything could be repaired rather than replacing it with another piece of crap guaranteed to break not long after purchase. Everything now is designed with built in obsolescence.

People buy far too much useless crap that has fueled the materialistic current mindset of endless consumption. I only buy what I need and I don't mind spending the money for a better product. But that has gotten difficult because even products made in the US are sourcing parts from Asia.

I am not sure where all this is headed. The world we know is changing. Even the signs in the heavens are screaming change - revolutionary level change. But we must be the ones directing that change instead of those who desire to enslave us. God help us!

I prefer to spend money on something I know is going to last instead of buying something cheap I'm going to have to replace frequently. I don't really have a point, lol. I am just glad I don't have to worry about a fire from cheap electronics.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 1 ▼
– mac1221 1 point 1 year ago +1 / -0

I agree. Rather than satisfying the "got to have it now" desire of most people, I am willing to wait longer to save enough to buy something better. For years all I purchased was American made electronics till that didn't work anymore. Most all of those American companies either went out of business or outsourced to stay in the market. China has been driving this bus for some time. The key is, do your homework instead of buying what sounds good. Most people don't bother - they just go for whatever is cheap.

It is going to take time to get people out of that mindset. Rampant consumerism has not been good for anyone. We may need to return to small enterprises run by local business owners that take pride in the products they produce instead of large mega corporations that do little for the communities where they exist other than provide some low paying jobs. If we can somehow get back to a way of doing business that worked for us all across the country sounds like a better way to go - if we can get there. I am not sure after a couple generations of people raised on cheap crap. I am old enough to remember a different way of life. A guy could support a wife, kids, and own a modest home with a blue collar job and just a high school diploma. Deindustrialization and a service sector economy has gutted the American Dream.

One thing to keep in mind when it comes to China.

The unemployment rate for 25-29-year-olds is officially 7.3%. Unofficially, china's unemployment rate is anywhere from 10% to 14% or so.

China Unemployment unofficial

What happens if their unemployment rate goes over 20%? Well, you have 100,000 unemployed, potentially non-happy campers sitting around with a LOT of time on their hands. Not good for national stability of China.

China may come up with a use for unemployed young males. Taiwan comes to mind.

It could get ugly, when the Chinese people who's proverbial boat rose from the tide of booming business in recent years - who got a taste of real money and some comfort and enjoyment that being middle class gives you - suddenly has to shoulder some of the hurt that Americans have endured for the past 20 years.

It's not going to be pretty for them... they're just getting a leg up, they left generations of farm/country life for city life and the promise of stupid profits, only to be stopped dead in their tracks.

I don't have any empathy for the theives that allowed this to happen at the expense of Americans. Those we "hired/elected" to protect us, sold us down the Yangze... total greedy traitors. AND the CCP - demanding ALL trade secrets and IP, just to be able to sell in the Chinese market... with the reality that they'll just reverse engineer it, create a low cost market interruptor and the original company will lose out.

The regular average everyday production worker has no clue about anything that I just mentioned. I do have empathy for them to a certain degree, only because they're "innocent" within the confines of this subject only. They're going to have to deal with slow or no work, just like Americans have dealt with since 9/11/2001.

This was the primary goal for the tariffs. For most nations, it's a way to negotiate better terms. For the CCP, it's all been about setting fire to the paper tiger. They are cooked, and from what I've been seeing, the population has been becoming far more vocal and protesting recently. A China free from tyranny in our lifetime? Perhaps.

All GAW users must adhere to the highest standards of conduct, whichever .WIN they are on. If we are notified by other moderators of incivil behavior on other .WINs, you WILL be banned here!

Civil Discussion ONLY**

They want you divided.

They want you labeled by race, religion, class, sex, etc.

Divided you are weak [no collective power].

Divided you attack each other and miss the true target [them].

No PAYtriots/No Self Promotion

Linking or promoting merchandise, fundraising, or spamming personal websites, blogs, or channels is not permitted. Do not attempt to profit from Q or advertise for those who do. Peace is the prize. We do it for free.

Questions and Concerns

All moderation questions and concerns should be submitted via modmail. DO NOT GRIEF the mods.

Expand your thinking

Remember, this .WIN is the public face of the Great Awakening, and, as a member here, you agree to represent the Great Awakening movement against Globalism, Communism and Progressive Insanity in the best, most positive way possible. NOTE: Your comments and posts may become news. Keep it classy!

This is not a 'fringe conspiracy' site: Visit https://conspiracies.win if that's your thing!

No doomers or shills

If you can't use common sense, you'll get banned without hesitation. If you're a shill, you fall under this rule. If you're a doomer, you fall under this rule as you just add garbage to the site like the other two. This includes forum sliding.

  • Memes encouraged, but no low-quality, low-info posts.

  • Keep it honest and accurate.

  • GAW Supporters ONLY. (Sorry, the train had no brakes.)

  • Handshake noobs will be scrutinized by their Q knowledge, sincerity, and respect.
