I guess I'd add that we should try to figure out what God's Will is for each of our lives (what God wants us to do). He may not want some of us to "fight" for certain things, even though we may want to "fight" some of these "battles". Other people might not want to "fight" and He is asking them to do so.
I say this as one who has gotten "nowhere" fighting battles that in retrospect maybe I wasn't supposed to fight, who thinks maybe there are other "battles" I am called to that I haven't attended to.
