"You see, Killbots have a preset kill limit. Knowing their weakness, I sent wave after wave of my own men at them, until they reached their limit and shutdown. Kif, show them the medal I won."
The same concept was used by the French at their prison called "Devil's Island." There was a book and a movie made about life there, called "Papillon" starring Steve McQueen and Dustin Hoffman back in 1973.
OH yes it was, I'd forgotten that. That original move with McQueen was excellent, while the later remake of it, with Pierce Brosnan, was such a weak tea, sad exercise that it was hardly worth the celluloid it was printed on. The latter was almost a parody of the brilliant original.
Please let it be Ana Navarro, who castigates President Trump for his approval of the Gator detention center, because as she puts it, " vast majority of immigrants are not criminals".
The whole facility's concept is a charade. Gators look scary therefore great defense. Except gators don't give a fuck about humans. There's only an average of 8 attacks a year. What a completely stupid concept built by people with noooo idea tf they're doing.
While alligators generally avoid attacking humans, unprovoked attacks can and do occur, particularly in areas where humans and alligators share habitats. Alligator attacks are often the result of human behavior that provokes or threatens the alligator, rather than the alligator's natural aggression.
Here's a more detailed explanation:
Alligators are not naturally aggressive towards humans:
They are more likely to be defensive or predatory towards smaller animals.
Which might be a problem if they were locking up Cajuns. The psychological affect of that many gators with that many toothies and no toothbrush has got to be a great deterrent to those who at best are likely only familiar with Crocs. Crocs will eat a person in a flash. JS
Mexicans are scared of dogs and gators. It's definitely psychological. Plus, if you zoom in on the pic you can see that there is a fence separating the moat from the prison.
I've been looking but cannot find detail - is this facility for the illegals with additional crimes? or is it a temporary holding facility? Because if it is just for 'anybody' here illegally, why not just put them on the first plane home and be done?
Till one hurricane hits it and our Everglades are full of garbage, debris and feces from the portable toilets. They should be doing anything down there and the illegals should be sent back where they came from not brought to Florida. There is another motive to building that down there. They have been trying for a long time to develop and open a rock quarry down there. Leave Florida alone
I want them housed on a converted super oil tanker, anchored in the middle of the ocean, in a known shark-breeding area, and continually threatened with sinking.
That's a lot of gators.
I think the best part of this is the protestors can't get to it.
I mean they could, the gators would eventually get full.
....and they can always make moar gators. kek
I have heard from Floridians that the numerous varieties of poisonous snakes & mosquitoes are more dangerous than the Aligators.
We have also have pythonsπ

Freakin brilliant!!!!β¦.now do one in DC for all the corrupt members of congress.
Reminds me of "Escape From New York": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UXztjpwspNk

Read the book amd saw the movie. Great read. Perhaps when the illegals are sent home we put the cruminal politicians there.
Good book. I can't believe how long ago I read that book.
Too bad Steve McQueen died so young. Loved his movies. He was quite popular.
"Bullitt" will forever by my go-to McQueen movie...along with "The Great Escape."
Thomas Crown Affair is a good one too.

The Blob!
...LeMans
As they say at UF, βGo Gators!β
I hope the gators and pythons are fed on a daily basis and let no meal get away.....
Might want to keep in mind that there a smaller problems like rattlesnakes and water moccasins. They are smaller and easier to get into the tents.
That's wonderful news!!
Don't forget the mosquitos, they will drive anyone crazy
Franchise?
I love the way you think!
I could see a whole bunch of "Influencers" going to protest. Their last selfie video at the edge of the moat!
Please let it be Ana Navarro, who castigates President Trump for his approval of the Gator detention center, because as she puts it, " vast majority of immigrants are not criminals".
However, the vast majority of illegals are criminals. How do these morons not know that?
EVERY illegal is a criminal!
KEK!
Not sure what to title this meme I
stolefound in the replies. πhttps://nitter.net/pic/media%2FGukBvagXUAAS3X_.jpg
To be fair ...
It was always surrounded by
Even before they built the airfield
But look closely at the photo.... See them all? I wonder if they have been feeding them?
They probably cut off their food a few days ago though...
Free buffet for the Hatians

Maybe just thought of them lurking around and maybe striking would be enough of a deterrent

Is it a "gated community" or a "gat-ored community?
LA had an Alligator Farm Park in the early 1900's as an attraction for visitor's.

I guess it's ok as long as the prisoner's don't make friends with the alligators!
Excellent! And airfield attached for quick flights back to where they came from!
Add some hippos
Funny you should mention that, I just came across thisπΈ https://k2radio.com/lake-cow-bacon-how-americans-nearly-became-hippo-ranchers/
They built that aweful fast. Was that one of those fema camps built years ago?
Was some kind of decommissioned military thing.
It's a operating still functioning training airport facility per the Gov Desantis

I've been wondering the same

As a Floridian American... I LOVE ITπ
Will there be video?
Darwin will have a YUGE workload for a while.
I want them housed on a converted super oil tanker, anchored in the middle of the ocean, in a known shark-breeding area, and continually threatened with sinking.
It still as a fence though. That fence could have been more useful elsewhere :)
Is this a Jojo reference???
Though I fully support this type of facility, Iβm sure the photo is fake or photoshopped. Plus, widen the moat please.
Seems like comms...
maybe they should toss Piranha into the river along the Mexican boarder
It's a beautiful site to behold!
If the head of ICE determines that a specific individual needs to be in that facility, would that be a Hohmann transfer? :P
