Has anyone noticed Vegas is dying and it’s not coming back? And it ain’t because of the economy. It’s because Trump fucked them from every angle possible.
- Vegas Was a Laundromat
Vegas wasn’t built on tourists. That was the cover story. The real money was cartel cash, foreign bribes, and political slush washed through casinos and real estate. The whole city was a Deep State clown operation.
- Trump Cut the Pipelines
He killed the laundromat. Treasury and DoD cracked down on offshore accounts, shell companies, and shady banks that kept billions flowing into the Strip. Once the dirty money dried up, the machine stopped cold.
- He Crushed Their Debt
Vegas built towers and resorts on borrowed money, counting on laundered billions to cover the gaps. Trump cut the backstop. Now they’re buried under debt they can’t service, with no bailout coming.
- He Starved Their Water
Vegas only exists because of outside water. Trump shifted the flow west to California farms and south to Arizona. Without that lifeline, Nevada’s growth scam collapsed.
- He Broke the Illusion
Once the cash and water were gone, investors saw the fraud for what it was. The confidence game ended. Nobody is pouring money into a corpse city.
Vegas is dead. It’s not coming back. Trump killed the Deep State’s money-laundering clown show and left it rotting in the desert.
I've been an annual Vegas visitor for several years. I've noticed the city deteriorate more and more every year. Some contributing factors in addition to those noted by the OP that I've noticed:
Drugs are way too out in the open. I have no beef against drugs, but smelling drugs on the strip and seeing users baked out of their mind is hard for some to witness.
Homelessness is EVERYWHERE. The strip was once billed as glitzy & glamorous. Now most sidewalks smell like urine or worse.
Unsafe / rise in crime, the mass shooting and onward.
Prices. Vegas used to lure guests into a casino with discount meals/buffets so they could win it back with gambling loses. Now, the few buffets that survived the plandemic are charging an arm and leg. And the newer resorts on the strip charge way too much for nightly rates. If people spend $500/day just for food and lodging, that leaves less to gamble away.
The strip clubs and hooker angle is way less popular since those seeking such activities can basically get everything with online p0rn.
Now that a lot of cities allow gambling and sports betting, once only available in Vegas, there is less motivation to visit.
Consumerism has taken over. Casinos have "luxury" retail stores, and shopping malls have entered the strip. Few people want to take an expensive vacation for the sole purpose of shopping. That can be done wherever the visitor is from.
Your reasoning seem much more plausible for why Vegas is in decline.
Yep. Maybe it was one of the main conduits to get USAID money into pockets tax free.
Look, I just won $1 million dollars in Vegas. I would be interested to see how many and how often civil servants visited Vegas.
Interesting idea. Very. I would love it if the FTC, or whatever govt agency, do a DEEP audit in the powerball and mega millions lotteries. I guarantee you a shit load of those $100,000 winners have deep state/NGO ties.
Never Thor that. Solid theory.
SOLID THEORY HELL...that's a 5000psi concrete whatever with #12 REBAR THROUGHOUT!!!!!!
OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!
A few years ago someone made a very good case for lotto being a pay off in plain site operation and lotto rigging as a method of money laundering. Now if I can find that post……..
I remember seeing a post (I think it was on Twitter) showing names of the billion+ dollar jackpots were all Sandy Hook parents.
They weren't Sandy Hook parents, they were actors paid to maintain the narrative.
Nevada is already like 95% federal land. I'm surprised it even qualifies as a state.
Edit: just looked it up, it's 84.5%. Looks like more on the map. Point still stands.
That is also part of it. Did you know nevadas constitution includes mining and how it is to be handled.l in the state. The reason there os no ststr income tax is the mining.
you forgot to mention 119 degree heat.
This! 👆🏻 Perfectly said Knew2u!
When do you normally go?
random times of the year, every year, for the past 10 years.
Add the drop in liquor consumption by the younger generation. They have no interest in drinking, which leads to gambling and blowing more money.
Interesting. And that (liquor) is the one thing Vegas is still offering for free, to loosen up the older 40+ crowd for more freewheel spending, while the 40 and under crowd passes on the free liquor altogether. Of course, its offered only to gamers. If you go to a bar in Vegas, not playing at a table, they charge $10 for a beer
I worked for years in the gaming industry. I started in marketing, worked for many different companies, then casino host, worked my way up to executive casino host. From my own experiences I can say things started changing significantly around 2012. Gaming markets started opening up in other states, kickbacks to the players, reward cards, concert series all brought in great revenue. As these smaller markets started hiring or sending executive hosts to expand the market we noticed Vegas while fun and thrilling, most serious gamblers liked the smaller markets, less crowds, experienced players at the tables, better payouts from machines, deeper discounts and comps. No reason to take a red eye to Vegas anymore. Poker rooms opened up and we saw a significant increase in players that were younger, had income to blow and overall more money was coming in. I got out in 2015 for good, took my little black book of whales and was forbidden from working at any gaming company for the next 10 years due to competition contracts and clauses. Alas, I still have lots of friends that play and serve the gaming industry. What I’m hearing is the tourism is way down, usual tourists from other countries are no longer choosing Vegas as a destination, whales are only coming in for tournaments and the comps are basically null now. Used to be if you had a certain “score” lets say 400 and up you could at least get a buffet comped, and the buffets were ridiculous good! Those numbers have now moved up to a 700 range, before a 700 score I would come and give you a free room, ask if there was a show you would like to go to, times have changed, drinks are watered down, expensive, spa experience is subpar. About the only company I see still focused on the player experience is Wynn. And even they are taking hits. Each gaming company has a hospitality score and each company scores you as a player depending on several factors, these scores are really only used by hosts that make sure they keep your business, less hosts, less comps, less hospitality, multiple factors going on. People want to feel special, they want superior service, they want to feel like that property was the only one they want to go back to, and with multiple outlets across the United States you have hosts, working for same gaming companies now competing internally for players business, in other words, if I gave you a free room, 500 in dining credits, a show, and spa, would you skip Vegas and go to Louisiana instead? How about Indiana? I could go on and on… but competition is also a major factor in Vegas losing limelight.
Thats part of the reason, but there's a few more like Bob Chapek and Bob Iger both being too stingy to maintain the parks and replacing beloved rides with DEI-sasters. Thats why Disney World is currently getting its clock cleaned by Universal Studios (who have been putting good money into their theme park).
I first visited Las Vegas some time around 1980 and it was a truly fantastic experience. My base currency is the GBP which was flying high against the USD at the time so I felt rich, which was great obviously, but it was not just that, The whole place felt exciting and free and slightly edgy just like its reputation. It helped that I visited fairly early in the year so got the benefit of a nicer climate.
I went back about five years ago and oh dear, not so good. OK this time it was August so the heat was intense, but everything else seemed 100% worse than I remembered. Felt like I was not welcome but my money was. Not that I felt rich this time around what with all the prices and fees for everything. Nobody really seemed happy they were just trying to put a smile on it and failed. Spent three days shuttling between air-conditioned boxes and was glad to leave. Hate to think how much worse it has got since then.
I stayed at the Trump hotel the only time I went. No slots there. Crazy luxury there. I thing we paid less than a hundred bucks a night. Somebody in the group had a points system thing and booked it for the group.
I really enjoyed seeing the casinos. The one with the river was my favorite. They have an Eiffel Tower too! And they had some free entertainment out front with some people playing Christmas music and some people were like statues in strange poses not sure what that was about but interesting.
I think I lost twenty dollars in about 2 minutes on slots and quit playing after that. Didn’t like losing.
I drove the strip the night they shit it down for the scamdemic, it was eerie seeing the casinos dark and nobody around.

Sorry but on what are you basing this supposed death of Vegas? What metrics show this from your perspective? Where can I see these metrics myself? Is Vegas out of water like you seem to claim? Is there evidence they can’t pay their debt? Where is this coming from?
Hoover Dam has been showing superlow waterlevels for a decade, but it appears to be "engineered" to feed the "climate change" BS. Like many "Dem cities" there are lots of illegals, intentional crime permitted to cover the corruption (like DC), and until recently lots of human trafficking. Dem inner city surrounded by many red suburbs, but whole gov't of Nevada is organized crime like Arizona, California, and New Mexico.
LV was intentionally turned into yet another Dem shithole using noncitizens to stuff ballots for Dems.
There are relatively large YouTube channels that have been covering the decline for a while now.
Interesting that the number of people coming are waaaaayyyyyyy down, the revenue from gambling goes up?
Money laundering?
Online gambling?
per AI
in short, no. Revenue from online casinos is not included in standard Las Vegas revenue reports because online casino gambling is not legal in Nevada . The Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) reports focus exclusively on revenue generated from legal, licensed, and regulated activities within the state's physical borders
Didn't stick to the wall..
Nice addition. I wonder what time of the day he filmed that. The sidewalks are alarmingly bare for a holiday weekend
I don’t have any real evidence but I know allot of the hotels there have started charging you a service fee if you open the mini fridge.
I know last time I was there I was like in casinos and crackheads were slanging. Usually that’s a no no but now a days they are letting them.
Interesting angle.......DO you have a longer form article on this?
Large language models remind me of cows. Cows take disgusting tasting grass and turn it into delicious milk and steak. Large language models turn foul despicable language and curse words into intelligent and honest information.
That is utterly preposterous.
Better analogy: LLMs are like pigs that will eat anything, including shit; but it all somehow turns into irresistible, super-tasty bacon with a high chance of an included parasite or two.
God bless you for this news, thanks to President Trump, they were evil disciples stealing from people. Thanks to God this evil city is over.
A!so kids do no go to "see a show", they gamble.on their phones, and the lights and glitz do nothing for them.
Since they post everything that they do online (including crashing their car while filming a tick ton video) nothing they do.will " stay in Vegas"
Vegas Decline (https://time.com/7309094/las-vegas-tourism-trump-slump/)
Vegas profits are at a record high. Visits are down because you can gamble on your phone.
Sin city is dying?
the last time i was there (about 3 yrs ago) i asked an Uber driver (a woman) how business was. She said since covid everything changed. the city is attracting all the scum of the earth. She said there is no way she would drive at night.
Great post. Vegas is a screwy town and let's just call a spade a spade. If Burning Man is a demonic festival (and of course it is) what in the name of God is Vegas? A year-round demonic festival that runs 24-7. The whole city is built on the idea of something for nothing. Put in a few dollars and get a big payout you didn't earn. If there's a core concept rooted in Satanic philosophy (after child sacrifice which is #1) that's it: something for nothing. People who ascribe to that philosophy are buying in to Satanic principles and sadly opening the door to demonic influences in their life. And now with the Great Awakening, people are waking up to the forgery and are buying out. No patriot even wants to go to Disneyland, much less throw cash down the toilet at Sin City.
Now consider the evolution of the town itself since the '80s. I first visited Vegas in about 1980, a business trip. The most "far out" edifice was the wall of red neon at the Flamingo. Today, that "quaint" old place wouldn't fit anywhere in the towering extreme-mega-resort milieu that have taken the word "lavish" lightyears beyond the imagination the most forward thinking visitor from the '80s... all of which begs the question, where in the f*ck did all the money come from? It could only be "offshore accounts, shell companies, and shady banks that kept billions flowing into the Strip" with "cartel cash, foreign bribes, and political slush washing through casinos and real estate"!
I'm not a religious person, but this is reality: the Great Awakening spells the end of Satan's empire and thank God for that. I can't wait for the death of the cartels and quick trials to make street drugs a thing of the past in this country.
I'm going to take a more positive spin that Las Vegas might come back but certainly not in its current form of indulgence and degeneracy.
In the political sphere I often hear that "politics is downstream of the culture" but those who mindlessly spout that aphorism don't realize that it came from the deepstate. It motivated the deepstate control of music and movies since the 60's (or earlier) via such programs as the Tavistock Institute (MI6) and the Laurel Canyon Op (CIA) in order to control politics. So they tried to reverse cause and effect but with that control now waning the artists and musicians will be freed and we could see a rebirth of real culture with great music, art, shows, opera, a revival of Classical music, etc., a Golden Age if you will.
Once the culture is freed and the dregs of the mafia, crime, prostitution, and drugs are purged from Las Vegas, it could become a cultural beacon and a more family (and human) friendly place to take a vacation.
While all that may be accurate, (I don't know), I do know the nickel and diming has gotten completely out of hand.
robo-fridge
That's why Vegas is a walking corpse.
The last time I was in Vegas was in February of 2018. It was practically a ghosttown then. Most of the little shopping strips were Chinese dollar store items, with Hello Kitty products all around and signs written in English and Chinese. We stayed at Caesar's Palace, and it was not at all like I remembered it. It was already starting to rot back then. I have wondered what it is like these days. I have a good friend who lives in Nevada, I will ask if she ever goes over to Vegas anymore and ask her to send pics if she does.
I lived and worked there for 8 years. You nailed it. Going by what you say, everyrhing makes perfecr sense. Way to fo seeing through it.
And yet somehow John Fisher thought it would be a great idea to move the A's to Vegas.
Well at least they may actually have decent crowds in the stands for the first time in years.....
Raiders have succeeded so far with their move.
It’s been going down hill for a long time. Last time I was there everything was dirty and wore out. People just don’t want to throw their money away when they don’t have any to throw.
The prices in Vegas have killed Vegas. Why go there and spend a gazillion dollars when most states have an Indian casino right down the street.
Being raised as a Christian, I NEVER had a desire to go to Vegas for any reason. It seems like a libtard shit hole where people that are bad at math go to empty out their wallets.... and people good at math (card counters) are kicked out/banned from playing the games.
If you think about the "damage" that a card counter causes to the profit a casino makes, it's the size of a mist droplet in a bucket. It's wild that they react with such impunity when they catch someone counting cards. Is it really cheating if you're just playing the game at a higher level? I don't think it is.
Also, consider the kind of people in your life that rave about going to places like Las Vegas. They also are the same people that say stupid stuff like "prostitution is the world's oldest profession" to justify their depravity. They also think that just having some drinks at the strippy is some "normal activity".
I'v been a tech for a casino for over ten years now and I can tell you it's hitting deeper than that. A lot of the slot companies themselves are having massive issues behind the scenes as well. Massive lay offs, quality control issues, lack of technical support, etc. I belive the industry has been dying for the last 4 years. With online gambling coming around the corner there will be little reason to physically be at a casino. More and more guests playing slot games on their phones while sitting at machines.
This is great news. I didn't know Vegas was this badly tied to corruption. That is sad as I understand they (Vegas) had a commission to study and make sure corruption was not a part of Vegas (I guess that failed, probably in the first years it was opened).

My comment their seems to reflect what is said here in the comments.
Those owners of sports teams that just had to move to Vegas must be kicking themselves now.
This will probably will force the sale of the Raiders since the owner isn't rich and doesn't own anything but the Raiders. The A's are trapped in Sacramento for the next three years with plans to move to Vegas so it may be possible for them to pivot but the owner seems like an idiot.
Nah. Sports franchises are doing just fine.
Could never afford to go to Vegas, now that disposable income is at a LOW.. no way am I going to “gamble” with what little I DO HAVE. I think this plays a large part as well. It’s been 5 years of scraping by for what little I do make.
I agree, it was never built on regular people going there to have fun. Gambling is for degenerates who can’t comprehend they already lost their money before stepping into the casino.
Its drying up because people are hurting and broke and trying to get by in there normal life. No extra money for Vegas fun.
Good news. It is an evil place.
