Actually Podesta's emails (via David Seaman and thanks to Seth Rich) woke me up and without Trump and Q, I would be looking for a way out, not a way to salvage our world.
I think people are just ready for action. Most around here will attack you and call you a quitter or weak minded but at some point, there needs to be major action.

Ideas like "the illuminati" had been around for ages but that was the first time I saw the media actually trying to run damage control and essentially admitting that it exists rather than treating it like a joke from fiction.

I dont remember how I got here. But it wasn't Trump. I got into the whole thing somet8me around drop 1400ish. I remember cause I thought drop 1776 would be "the drop" and everything was leading towards it. It wasn't trump who brought me in though. I have been skeptical since 2001ish when a Japanese girl asked why we dropped the bombs on Japan first and that Pearl Harbor was retaliation. A last ditch effort on Japan's part. That is when I realized not everything is what it seems.
9/11 got my attention as things weren’t adding up, but life got in the way and I went back to sleep.
The MSM constantly bashing Trump (who was doing a good job) in his first term started to awake me from my slumber. (not to mention the impeachments that came a little later)
I had heard about the Q thing, but it was Gavin Newsom’s blatant symbolism on his Twitter background image that shook my world.
It was then that I went down the Q hole and multiple other rabbit holes.
Ultimately, it was with Q that things finally made sense.
Truckers used to pass cassettes of "conspiracy theories" around to listen to as they drove. This is from the 60s that I know of, and possibly earlier.
In the 90s there was the "reverser" movement. I forget the biggest name in it, but the concept was to reverse engineer the reality we are presented with to figure out how we were being manipulated. One of the examples was indoor malls. The even, consistent lighting with no windows to the outside and a scarcity of clocks meant that you could spend all day in one with no sense of time passing.
Homeschooling parents knew that the gov't run schools were garbage.
There is always a group that knows, the question is whether they get stopped from growing ala The Tea Party.
