I believe they are trying to subliminally convince you that meat is gross.. And/Or.. They are trying to convince you that bugs with food is no biggie.. And/Or.. someone in marketing has a major screw loose.
The real question is.. why is anyone still actually watching ads!?
they did it on purpose then. Those bugs on that second video are overlaid in a video editing software, they dont travel along the steak's surface. Look when they get to the gap in the steak they just float right over it.
Next question should be, why would Kroger purposefully add CGI bugs on the steak?
It's odd that they are in the ad, and move at exactly the same rate of speed, and are that color (super light) and seem to lack legs, and appear to float across the surface...
Most foods (if not all) do not use real food when filming commercials because the coloration is off and doesnt look clean or vibrant… for example, when filming milk, they use elmers glue in place of it…
Edit: btw I am kind of for "bug eating" (it's just another food) but also you guys do know you're already probably eating plenty of bugs in your food, right?
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) permits a certain level of insect contamination in food under its Defect Levels Handbook. These are not safety hazards but are considered unavoidable due to the realities of farming and processing.
Klaus Schwab - You vill eat zee bugs.
Eat zee bugs!!!🐞🐛🐜🪲🪳
Free added protein. Don't worry about the bugs. You will eat it and be happy with the decision the DS made for you. Comply or suffer the consequences.
Ha! That's similar to what my Dad would say when cooking on an open fire, camping. "Extra protein!"

Correct.
Psyop. To give you a visceral rejection reaction to meat.
Psychological 'warlocks' control the advertisement industry. Long goal: 'No meat for You'
Same reason bud light self imploded. It's all a plan to make someone rich.
The old make em go bust and buy the real estate for peanuts plan, then sell it for millions. Is it antisemitic to think that?
A few years ago I went into a Kroger and everyone running the store was trans.
...and you left a "changed man" after that experience.
That's not a bug. It's a feature.
Kek.

Other than that,...totally normal
They need to fire their advertising firm.
It’s a rendering problem, supposedly some flying sesame
Finally, an honest ad.

They wont eat much will not reduce total weight that is probably inflated anyway
I believe they said "protein enhanced."
Thanks meat whistle blower!!
u/#hopium
Extra protein...

“In 2030, You vill eat zee bugs, and you vill be happy”
They probably chose the film footage with the least # of bugs for the commercial.
After about 30 takes... they finally had video with only 2 bugs.
