regarding the sex scene. there was very little religious piety in the film, excepting the deserved assault on islam. the sex scene was lewd but consensual on purpose. it contrasts against the violent despicable rape normalized by islam. there is no equivalency there. it is a trap for all religions on purpose. islamic rape is wicked, consensual sex is not the same. don't get me wrong, believers should do neither, but pagans will do consensual sex (prostitution) and not violent rape. i don't hold pagans to very high standards- but rape = prison.

I mean, it is a pretty terribly-made movie. It is Uwe Boll after all. The protagonist is a champion for people victimized by random terrorism, yet he plays chicken with a random car and runs it off the road, thus killing its occupants, just to somehow make a point to a judge he'd already injected with heroin who was already stoned out of his mind to probably even notice, and whom he ends up killing anyway. So much of the movie doesn't make sense. Like apparently he had been apprehended by Interpol and was asked questions about being at a bar, but the nonlinear movie just jumps back and forth without explanation and it's a convoluted mess. Was he apprehended after his DNA was taken from the shotglass in the bar? Was he then released? I didn't catch that. Yet the movie wasted time with him going to a brothel and a protracted sex scene, noticing mold growing on the ceiling, etc. It could've been a lot better, but it's Uwe Boll we're talking about.
But the movie does have sharp criticism for those hideous judges who keep releasing these villains onto the streets, as well as calling Islam an archaic, barbaric religion that doesn't belong in civilized society. And it takes real-world examples of atrocities. It's a Batman-style vigilante justice fantasy that is a sharp accusation against globalism.

Okay as a piece of cinema it is basically carried by the only star in it. There is an attempt at making the vigilante nuanced and imperfect, rather than some hero of justice. However, the time skips, random deaths like the car crash scene, and the almost comic relief moment of the gratuitous sex scene with a prostitute with a mid fuck distraction caused by mold damage to the building he apparently owns? It wasn't necessary. It wasn't thought out. And it shows the weakness of the director tbh more than anything.
That said, tbh the movie has left me conflicted. I understand the point being made - if you don't fight for justice, you will never get justice, and in Europe justice is no longer something given to victims of crimes when those whose intersectional lens grades them as less privileged. As Death in the Pratchett novel Mort said "there is no justice. There is just us," and though it had a different meaning in the book, it still feels apropos here.
This isn't good cinema. But it is a poignant reflection of what could and will happen if the invasion of antithetical cultures to the west is allowed to persist. Someone with the means and the capabilities will seek vigilante justice. And such forms of justice have existed for centuries. And when such justice is carried out, it will be brutal, ruthless, and will be a massacre. It will become a moment of Caedite eos. Novit enim Dominus qui sunt eius. or as we have bastardised it in modernity: "kill them all. Let God sort them out."
The migrants who do such heinous acts believe they can get away with it because they have learned it to be the case. However, Someone will eventually go and teach them that Christians abandoned violence not because we disliked it, but because we are very, very good at dishing it out. We were so good at it, we realised if we kept doing it, God would turn his face from us.
So now we pray for the strength to go on without pulling that trigger with the guns aimed at anyone outside our faith, or at anyone willing to wrong us for our faith. We seek to follow jesus and turn the other cheek. We pray for the ability to show both mercy and prudence, because we know deep down what will happen if we don't.
