We should just fully defund the IRS and give the tax money back to the people. Then defund all 3-letter agencies. We need a moritorium on foreign aid. Indefinitely. The federal government should not be in the business of shipping our money overseas to corrupt countries. If there is a worthy cause to support abroad, private individuals can donate if they like. No one should be forced to support foreign entanglements through the involuntary confiscation of wealth via taxation.

I do hope your friend turns up okay. Some of the most fun I've had duck hunting has been in windy or somewhat stormy weather. It can get the birds moving and flying around more. I've never gone out in a kayak though.
