We just got done watching the movie, have never seen it before. In the scene where Ryan and Greer go to the White House they have visitor badges on, and on the badges there is a large, black Q on the white background. Maybe this is common knowledge among people who have seen the movie, but watching it for the first time it jumped out at me.

It's clear as can be in the movie, and can be seen (but a little blurry) in this video clip, about 6 seconds in...

GameStop is absolutely planning to take on Amazon. Since RC came on board they’ve poached a lot of Amazon executives.

From Investopedia….

Special Considerations The table below outlines the acceptable trading ranges used to regulate individual securities within the current system of circuit breakers. If trading outside of these bands persists for 15 seconds, activity is halted for five minutes. The reference price is calculated using the average price over the previous five minutes but the maximum allowed pause is 10 minutes.

I’ve had to sit and wait through 10 minute halts many times, on many different stocks. I keep a lot of cash in my brokerage, so that when I see a stock that’s shooting up parabolic I can instantly buy, then quickly resell. I’ve been lucky taking advantage of that volatility, but I have to deal with trading halts when doing that. I’m not arguing with whatever the rule claims, I’m just saying in my real life experience it’s always been 10 minutes.

With Computershare I hope!

Yes, it’s misleading.

GME is the golden ticket, and should be safely secured directly with Computershare. Selling GME would be a HUGE mistake.

Perfect.

Say what you will about the insanity of ‘20 - ‘21, but one thing is certain, the memes have been epic.

It wasn’t stopped by RH or any other broker. It was automatically halted because the volatility triggered a circuit breaker. This is a standard procedure.

The automated “circuit breaker” halts are 10 minutes. I’ve been involved in them in several different stocks and it’s always 10 looong minutes.

I did a TDA to CS transfer and it took 3 weeks exactly.

Then I decided to move more, so instead I did TDA to Fidelity (3 days) then Fidelity to CS (2 days)

Even easier... just buy straight from Computershare. Only takes a couple minutes to open an account on Computershare.com, link your bank account, and place a buy order.

That's the third large bust of a pedo ring I've seen this week.

If anyone had the foresight to grab some puts on SNAP before it tanked 20+% today then hell ya, awesome for them.

Exactly. I’ve explained the situation to a bunch of people, and about five friends so far have bought several shares a piece, but other people can’t be bothered, oh well.

But in the reverse of that…. I know that my ex wife has a lot of holdings in her IRA, so I casually mentioned that she should buy A FEW shares of GME. She said she’d look into it. Well, I guess she liked what she saw because a week later she told me she sold most of her AAPL and bought 1,400 freaking shares! That’s double my HODLing and I thought I had a lot. Unfortunately because it’s in her IRA she can’t DRS.

I put in a limit order for 500 @ $11.77 (kind of a “17” thing, lol) and when I woke up I saw that it had been filled at $11.75 so I barely squeaked in by two cents. Phew.

I bought DWAC, and glad I did, obviously, but it is nothing similar to GME.

GME is a situation where crooked hedge funds got overly cocky, because they’ve gotten away with committing crimes for ages. For the first time, someone (all of us “Apes”) put our collective $ together, and now the hedge funds are backed into a corner with no way out. They’re delaying their inevitable demise with every trick in the book, but they’re running out of options. GME is potentially going to be a once-in-forever opportunity. Honestly, I can’t see any reason why anyone who is able to afford even a couple shares doesn’t jump at the opportunity.

I’m not the person you were asking… but I’m online A LOT and I hadn’t seen it mentioned at all before it announced Wednesday night. So it seems like it was kept quiet, or as Q says “no leaks.”

Anyway, I placed a limit order before going to bed, and when I woke up I saw that it had filled during pre-market.
