Trump seems to be mostly focused on the US at the moment. Musk is talking about the country he was born and raised in. That might make a difference.

I agree with others that this looks like comms about (former) Twitter. A need to "vaccinate" people against the truth prior to the election? Are they going to try to take the site down?

Between this and the "we're going to drag an asteroid into near-Earth orbit!" news, they really seem to be scraping the bottom of the sci-fi barrel.

Remember when chopping down large parts of the rainforest was a bad thing? Messing up the ecosystem, blah blah blah.

Cutting down trees to create farmland that feeds people? Ungood.

Cutting down trees to install an energy $cam? Doubleplusgood!

Didn't Hillary's hero Saul Alinsky say just that? Accuse the other side of doing what you're doing.

Fascinating. I've been paying attention to volcanic activity since Covid started. I remember seeing a YouTube about Hunga-Tonga but at that time, I guess they had no idea of how much water it dumped. The satellite videos of it are impressive.

Someone in the comments on that piece mentioned the possibility of heavy snowfalls for the next few winters. Considering how much rainfall we've had in my area this summer, I think I'll do a little extra prepping for this winter, just in case we get blizzards. We haven't had a really hefty snowfall for several years now, but we also haven't had such massive amounts of rain either.

"Man-made climate change" my butt.

Great! More people need to be aware of these things.

I read a comment the other day that resonated - The whole transgender thing is basically a Eugenics program. All these mentally-ill people are being sterilized and the government doesn't have to get involved at all. In fact, people are doing it to themselves so the govt can claim "clean hands".

And when it gets really bad, they know that these broken people will kill themselves, which works for them as well.

It was one of the most unfeminine gestures I have ever seen. Conditioning would tell a normal woman to wait to adjust an underwear mishap until she got into the car. Certainly not having a rummage around like that in front of a lot of people, photographers especially. It would be odd for a woman in general, let alone the wife of a President (because decorum is very important).

Unless they were drunk, of course. Then all bets are off.

Post-hypnotic command. That's what it looks like to me.

I looked at it a few times (what crappy resolution!) and though it does appear that she has an object in her hand as she's reaching out towards him, that object completely disappears when she pulls her hand back. I believe that the "object" is just a glitch and she used her hand to touch his.

What I also found interesting is how the guy directly behind the hands sort of leans in and motions with his hand, as well, as if he's acknowledging what she was doing. Also, he's worth watching after McConnell freezes. Watch the expression on his face change! Is he someone or is he just security?

Does anyone else remember that when the whole Lewinsky thing was happening, there were questions as to why she was at the WH at such late hours. The claim was that she was "bringing pizza" to Clinton (who was working late) so the security guards let her through.

I did some reading and I found something referring to the staff having pizza during the day and Monica taking some in for BC. But that's not what I remember the media saying at the time. They were still in the excuse-making phase and it sounded plausible (I guess) that for some reason, she'd be the person selected to bring pizza in at night. Not like it could be ordered and security could deal with it...

Sounds a bit more sinister now, doesn't it? Especially when we consider the movie "Wag the Dog" where the scandal they were trying to cover up was about the President and an underage girl.

I had a moment of dissonance between seeing the photo and seeing the words "her" and "she" in the article.

Not surprised that another self-appointed "elite" thinks that they're above the law.

For that time period, the person/house doing the covers were fairly important people in their own right. Roger Dean is a good example, as was Hipgnosis (graphic design studio)

Digging into that, this cover was done by Pacific Eye and Ear, which now seems to be just one guy who was the original owner. - Ernie Cefalu. He has some of the art here.

And also for that time period, Alice and his band were probably so drunk/stoned that they didn't care at all. It was all just "shock the Normies" for them.

Excellent idea! I've been thinking for some time that anyone running for office should have to have "open books" regarding their banking etc. If they're really bad with their own money, why the heck should they be allowed near taxpayers' money?

And since they like these new technologies so much, they can have trackers implanted as well. Removable ones of course, because there should be term limits and they don't need to be tracked after they leave office.

They have special laws to protect whistleblowers but suddenly everybody online should be outed??

One would think that these scaaary "Dark Tetrad Types" are exactly the type of people who should be opposed which can only happen if the opposition is protected from them. And yet the "psychologist" is claiming anons should all be outed because...we'll all be protected from those same Dark Types? Somehow?

Magic perhaps?

"Speak to Him, thou, for He hears, and Spirit with Spirit can meet- Closer is He than breathing, and nearer than hands and feet."

From Tennyson. Gives me chills every time I read it.

Ah yes - the fabled Dear Leader that no-one here has ever heard of. Sounds legit. I wonder how much he managed to grift off of his "follower$"?

Interesting - for all the talk of people not being who they're supposed to be or wearing masks or whatever, the first person I thought of when I saw this guy's picture was Ray Epps. I realize they don't look exactly alike but that was my first iimpression.
