I'm already boycotting them in a sense, I don't drink sodas. But... it'll be interesting to see how "real" Santa will remain for young kids. Is this the start of cancelling Christmas traditions....movies, tv specials, books, all the decorations passed from one year to the next? Not the brightest idea, fiscally speaking.
I love the "The American people can ensure he's never elected again." Really??! He is/was elected because that's what the American people WANT. That's how voting and a Republic work, Jack-wagon.
Though rare it does happen. My best friend's dad had an annual physical, colon cancer found, and was laid to rest less than two weeks later, the day before my wedding.
Public school late 70s, 80s, and graduated 91. "Board of education" applied to back sides as needed in elementary and jr high. Suspension and alternative school was the punishment in high school. Smoking was allowed on campus, by staff and students, in designated areas only though until 89 or 90 when the legal age became 18. Gum chewing however was not allowed. Most of the male students drove pickups and they all had gun racks with shotguns and rifles in the back windows. Nobody thought twice about it. Female teachers wore dresses, males wore suit and tie.
Similar story here. Dh had a heart episode that landed him in the er. Doc said was a precursor to a major heart attack. While in the er we found out dh had high bp and cholesterol, type 2 diabetes, fatty liver, and kidney disease. We jumped on to the whole foods plant based (and oil free) bandwagon. Two years later and with no rx's he's down 50lbs and his numbers are all "textbook perfect".
I remember the global ice age hype (pollution was blocking out the sun) when I was in school. Along with holes in the ozone layer, acid rain , and save the trees and use plastic bags. And then poof! Al invented the internet and the world is now conveniently burning up and we now have what? 10 or 11 years left? 🙄
Nope. April and Oct are the peaks.
True. Very true. I am continually amazed there aren't more people being smacked in parking lots. It's like reverse game of Frogger. ( Anyone remember that game?) Nobody looks ever looks up, completely unaware of their surroundings. Somebody even walked into the side of my car once while they were engrossed in their phone. Rather than say "oops sorry" he yelled a string of profanities and gave me the tall boy.
Essentially avoid anything that is processed and packaged. There are only 10 companies that pretty much own everything sold in the grocery store, including organics. Check out the chart here: https://www.good.is/money/food-brands-owners
I'm sure that glue is very earth friendly, not animal tested, non-toxic, and in a biodegradable container made from post consumer recyclables. And I'm sure it also wasn't bought in an evil corporate owned store, or transported in petroleum guzzling, air polluting trucks. Bravo!! 👏👏👏
Hmmm, that's intriguing.
Robstown? What an odd location choice.
Land lines are not an option where I live. No phone lines.
I'm not in AZ but I'm seeing this too. Long trains of them.
It's not just aircraft. I've watched a LOT of military equipment, tanks and bobcat looking things among other stuff, moving on the train rails behind my house. I've lived here for 12 years and have never seen that before.
The CIA has a website??! Who woulda thunk.
I think that's how "plant based" came into use.
Meme fodder.
I'm not sure which is more ridiculous: Mr. Tough-Guy in front of a cheesy green screen or him doing the geriatric shuffle looking lost and dazed.
Never been trustworthy. I remember there being a brouhaha in the early 90s about them not testing blood during the peak of hiv/aids as well.
When was the last time anything news worthy happened over a weekend?
My local Walmart has played that psa too on the "walmart radio." Sound advice but it isn't b/c they care. It's just a convenient way to boost sales.
Nope, I don't believe it. He lacks the thought process for that. He's the patsy though. I wouldn't be surprised if that's how they get rid of him.
Great idea but unfortunately a lot of bars and restaurants declare and report for the servers based on their total sales, regardless if they're tipped or not.
New St. Nick looks to be quite a bit trimmer. Fat shaming too, Coke? Tsk, tsk.
