Unpopular opinion: The "convoy" is useless and a waste of time UNLESS you guys cross the rubicon. Otherwise they'll just run and hide, wait you out, and then come back twice as hard when you leave. 1/6 should have shown everybody that.
u/GoingCamaro go ahead, give your "one race, the human race!" spiel...
They predicted that any group organizing to work against the System would be immediately called "glowies" or "feds" by people who also claim to oppose the System but who actually can't or won't be bothered to actively oppose it beyond complaining about them on the internet (in modern terms, of course). Lo and behold, they were right.
Of all the segments of the population from which we had hoped to draw new members, the "conservatives" and "right wingers" have been the biggest disappointment. They are the world's worst conspiracy-mongers - and also the world's greatest cowards. In fact, their cowardice is exceeded only by their stupidity.
The current conspiracy theory being circulated among conservatives is that the Organization is actually in the pay of the System. We are hired provocateurs whose job is to raise enough hell to justify the repressive counterrevolutionary and anti-racist measures the System is taking. If we would just stop rocking the boat, things would be easier on everyone. Whether they believe that theory or not, it gives them an excuse for not joining us.

Called it pretty good, didn't they?

No wonder. The Matrix goes beyond a metaphor for modern life: it is literally an accurate depiction of modern life. We are all slaves in a system, and all roads (such as the established banking system, for one) lead back to the creators and operators of said system; the same group of people you and everyone else is knee-jerk conditioned over the course of their whole lives to come to the defense/aid of, as you demonstrated earlier. If you believe the media lies have been going on for a long, long time, look at what else they say is true and infer they are lying about that as well.

Boy I tell ya, I didn't used to be like this. But after seeing this exact same thing happening instance after instance after instance after instance after instance to the point that I couldn't even begin to keep track, it was not hard to agree with the phrase
And gradually, I began to hate them.
