Working from home allows me to live remotely in an area where my rent is like $350 a month for a one-bedroom cabin. The fiance and I are working on getting our property set up to live on. We're trying to figure out the water situation because nobody delivers water up to where we're at, and because of regulatory bullshit a well is going to cost like $30,000 to install legally. But it's worth it because we will be able to grow all of our own food and we won't have to pay a ridiculous amount of money every single month just for a box to sleep in. Without starlink that wouldn't have been possible.

I really think that a laser-based point defense system would be superior to one that relies on kinetic energy and bullets. The bullets will give you too much of a lag time and more of an opportunity to miss, and also there's the possibility that the system could run out of ammunition and be overwhelmed by volume of fire.

I wanted to move to Florida a few years ago but I looked at the job postings and man The income compared to the cost of rent that I was able to make there was just not doing it. I mean God it's so expensive and the jobs pay so little. Has that changed in the past few years or no?

If I was a billionaire and I had kids I would just set them up enough so that they don't have to worry if they just budget their money correctly for the rest of their lives they would be fine with enough coming in to handle an emergency. As somebody with high functioning autism, I can tell you sometimes things happen and you completely fucking lose control of your behavior. It's almost like blacking out or being so drunk that you're barely conscious and you don't really understand what's going on. Something must have triggered him. When those times happen it's really important to have people around you who understand your condition and who have the compassion and empathy needed to forgive you and understand that you're really not there and you're not in control when you're saying those things. I hope that the people in the White House can understand this and forgive him. I also hope that they can understand that Elon should not be in a public facing position. Where he does his best is when you stick him in a hole somewhere and let him get to work.
