In ny here,my license is enhanced. With my enhanced license I can travel freely into Mexico or Canada. Am I correct to assume that real id gives you same freedom but you can't get behind an automobile. In ny it is $30 more on top of regular drivers license cost. Drivers license last for 8yrs ,not a bad deal.
