No trace of the star can be left when the BBs run out or you lose. People who don't understand why auto is not always the best choice always lose. That, and the guns (and the overused BBs) suck so several BBs end up feet off the target. Small blasts work well on that game.
Next thing you know there will be bump stocks for bb guns. I hear they sell one that can shoot assault pallets that have the penetrating force to go through 20ft of high strength bunker concrete. Help us all.... :p
