do you have any more posts or things to say about your philosophy of "Wholesome Endeavor"? I really like that idea
I kind of agree and it almost doesn't matter if drugs are legal or not; there are a lot of illegal drugs that people still seek out, and legal addictive drugs that people abuse. But people can also choose to avoid legal or illegal drugs if they have enough Wholesome Endeavors to focus on; if they don't have that I'm not sure our law will protect people from themselves
I commented there as well if you want to discuss there additionally I guess
someone suggested this ought to be reposted here (as well? or instead?):
Legalize All Drugs, Yes or No?
I'm kind of for legalizing all drugs, slowly, while also putting in place societal infrastructure for discouraging the abuse of drugs and to help people who become addicts.
I can elaborate on further reasons for legalization of drugs if requested; it is not however a top priority to me as a policy issue so I don't focus on it as much for that reason.
What do you think about drug legalization or criminalization?
Actually this is kind of where I started, I was thinking I should be able to grow my own medicine (like pain medicine often comes from poppies) and kind of thinking it was weird some people need prescriptions to be able to buy the medication they need in a store and wondering why it wasn't legal
LOL I mean, there's something to be said on this topic, in osme olaces a drone show could also reduce wildfire risk (looks like drones seem to be the top alternative at the moment maybe)
had I of known of this article, this might have been good to post in the OP or as an additional article. There are safety issues with fireworks too, and it distrubs some kids and animals.
It's not something I am overly concerned with but a more ecofriendly drone show might not bother me either. When preserving or altering traditions it's important to try to think about what the underlying substance of the tradition is - here I'm not sure a literal firework is needed to give off some sound and light in a celebratory way.
interesting addition about considering where fireworks are manufactured
maybe certain dancing non-gentiles are involved...
Civil Rights Act is unConstitutional tho
it'll force businesses to move out, or keep everything locked up
let's goooooooo
neither are women nor heroes
nothing will happen
truly disgusting read if true
I remember the days when his cartoons were being edited so much that he did a hilarious ama on a chan to try to have an honest conversation with the "trolls"...
it's been fun seeing him grow so much since then and I definitely hope he heals or God leads him as he needs
framing the issues correctly is important
said some prayers
I had a relative like this who recovered a bit
hoping for the best
so just get rid of the Civil Rights Act which is kind of illegal and against peaceful assembly anyway
what a waste of time it has been forcing all kinds of people to associate with one another involuntarily
this seems to be kind of ok as long as other groups are also able to do so, or not do so if they want
I think there's a lot of moving parts as to why this is, I can only speak from my own perspective (I think this and the other post are a relevant reaction to what's going on)
on this site, for me custom communities never really ended up becoming a thing beyond the few main ones; it just didn't feel like people spread out, and people may have just left the site
As a neutral comment, "mainstream" places like Twitter seemed to open up again and I see there is a lot more conservative stuff circulating on other popular platforms like tiktok or snapchat, so people may not feel a need to come over here as much as there are mainstream "options" (so the bad thing is that these places aren't necessarily better, but good that there is freedom to speak to a wider audience elsewhere and that such ideas are circulating). Some smaller reddit alternatives failed (like Ruqqus) and posters are a little tired of the small sites at this point.
politically I think a lot of momentum was lost because Trump saw the mail-in vote scheme and apparently failed to plan for it and related alleged election steal efforts, failed to stand up for the J6 prisoners, and continues to push the vax a bit. There hasn't been a viable alternative so people are still kind of stuck with Trump even though he has alienated a lot of supporters, like with that "big announcement" that ended up being Trump cards.
this makes some of us wonder if trump was ultimately working for the other side, however if those who want to control everything had total control, they would just implement such control, so it seems clear the people still have some control. It's hard to get a read on what Trump is really about; in my view, there really is no plan, he's just kind of improvising, but really that's life, there are many things you can't plan for.
In my view the "vax" kind of ended up failing in our favor in some ways and has woken up a lot of people who are now even more distrustful of any of these kinds of proposed "mandates", although at the same time there are a lot of losses. I have personally always been skeptical of Q, but I end up seeing a lot of things posted on this community that seem interesting for discussion (so that's why I have come here).
I think also to some extent some people feel "everything has already been said". Like I feel like a lot of major groundbreaking ideas have already been shared. We still see things come out, but a lot of main ground seems covered, maybe? At the same time, there's plenty of work to do, so people are maybe off working until a time when it might be good to have discussions again.
tl;dr we had a changing social media landscape, political momentum has stalled a bit, a lot has already been said, and people are probably just busy

so there was a 1993 attack on TT with explosives, is it possible he is referencing that
not saying building 7 which wasn't hit by a plane didn't come down by explosives, just wondering if that's what he was referring to
I would probably include heroin, meth, cocaine... any of these kinds of things conventionally called "drugs". It's often a personal responsibility and culture issue, not the fact that any of these are legal. It's legal for a 21 year old to purchase some "addictive" alcohol and overdose currently, but they won't do so if they feel personally responsible or don't live in a culture that promotes drinking to excess.
