I lived a 1/4 mile from Evanston for 12 years. It's the most insane place I've ever known. It is definitely more woke than SnFran. They are already giving reparations to blacks in Evanston.

This city's entire population likely accounts for much of 4-6% lost forever. They'll take more boosters even while MSM is reporting issues to them. They will just "break" when it all comes out.

Same as these damn classes. Just identify as black and get the class that only has 2 students in it with tons of 1-to-1 time with the teacher. They are dying to do studies that show blacks and latinos "achieve higher marks" when in race segregated classes while failing to account for the small numbers of blacks and Latinos who take an AP Calculus course thus giving basically private tutoring to students.
I'm sure they are also foaming at the mouth to claim blacks and Latinos outperform whites in Calculus when classes are race segregated. Again 30 whites in a class with 1 teacher vs. 5 Latinos with 1 teacher.
Evanston is ground zero for getting white parents to teach their white children that their skin color is the problem with the world.
Someone should suggest segregated drinking fountains.

This is what happened when a high school in the early 2000's tried to start a Caucasion club. If this happened 20 years ago, imagine what the reactions would be today?
Context: from the comments, the class is not restricted by race, anyone can enroll.... the code that they use to enroll in the class is different depending on your race, supposedly for tracking people who enroll by their ethnicity.
To me this is still a divisive policy. Race should not be a factor at all. To categorized people by their race is useless and doesn't help anyone, it can only further divide us.

I would have to disagree based on my reading of the responses. That was just one of the theories offered. Another possibility suggested they want to provide an environment for certain groups to make sure they aren't forced to learn with peers who are culturally insensitive. Honestly there are easier ways, and less potentially illegal ones, to track ethnicity if that is all they want.
I can't imagine any school administrator doing this unless they were trying to get the Supreme Court to reopen their previous ruling. The current interpretation of the equal protection clause must be horribly inconvenient for their plans to divide us.

This is entirely to give them free higher scores without witnesses or ability to claim different grading standards since they overwhelmingly underperform.

America is the United States for a reason. And it can and has worked with peopIe from all over the world. The main difference between then and now, however, is that the schools these days are intent in ensuring there is no such thing as national pride. They're intent in taking the American away from Asian American, African American, etc. from the next generation. That's why people are so tranfixed on asian problems, black problems, but not American problems.

Those who downvoted us and the mod who banned me for 24hrs must have never gone to school with more than a handful of minorities. Besides, those minorities who are serious about math can always identify as white or Asian and get placed into the real math class instead of the daycare class.
Anyway, the funny thing is if republicans responded to this whole class segregation thing as a good thing to protect whites then the democrats would stop advocating for segregated classes. In this instance, I think it's better not to fight them on this, but instead to turn it around on them.
