this might be ok. as you say it will fail. then they at least get to save face by claiming they "tried to do something to stop Trump", but didn't. no worries?

conservatives need to have their own "antiwork" or "work reform" movements, these corporations are anti-conservative, anti-capitalist, and so on. We don't need for example a 32 hour work week mandated like Bernie Sanders is clamoring for but I don't see a reason why conservatives can't fight for better working conditions and pay voluntarily where it works and is appropriate. The companies are ripping laborers off and have no problem stealing from Americans by hiring illegals and socializing those costs on the average American

I think banning Tiktok would be unwise for many reasons, it just seems like an attempt to suppress some of the "free speech" that exists on Tiktok that doesn't exist on U.S. platforms

not to downplay this but has anyone thought about or discussed the implications of so much information being generated constantly? Even if people were being watched all the time, you can't even make sense of it... it makes me wonder how leaders can make decisions or how they could maintain control over much of anything. They could only get summaries and make guesses about certain things.

Research conducted in 2016 estimated that 1.7 MB is how much data is created every second per person. (Northeastern University)

That was from however many years ago. No one can read all the texts, see all the pictures, watch all the videos... a few content creators alone can generate more video footage than one person can keep up with as a consumer.

giveaways are fine, just not with forcibly taxed monies... people can voluntarily donate to charity if they want to

9/11 was a big redpill for a lot of us, it proved people were lying since the "official story" made no sense, leading to question all manner of things... there were no "WMDs" either which was the pretext for aggressive military action after 9/11, and the "patriot act" was obviously anti-patriotic... and so on

possibly trump's people are already aware of this and were just letting things go so they can appeal?

it's simple, get rid of required government licensing for jobs (degrees). allow competition for training for such business (more schools).

it's almost like regulating these industries has driven the cost of things up, taken the quality of them down, and taken away people's freedom to work...

The mistake was supporting forced college licensing for jobs, this was predictable but surprisingly few are sounding the alarm on this problem

The solution would be in legalizing practicing medicine, law, engineering, etc. without a license and legalizing competitive alternatives to bloated expensive "higher education institutions" (which are mandatory for certain jobs)

JBP almost figured it out, he did propose to set up an alternative to college some years ago but it never gained steam

(So I don't wish this upon him exactly but he benefited from a system that allows this, so it is kind of a "what goes around comes around" situation in my view. He should have worked more actively to correct this coercive system)

I have to say, Trump is a really interesting phenomenon, a constellation of different elements all combined together, but as I have said in a few places I am curious about the 2028 run... who follows up his lead?
