Including friendships. Nobody has a bestie of the same skin shade anymore.

Actually, "Vengeance" had two white guys buddying around and it felt very odd.

I saw a trailer for the comedy "Bros."

The guy is complaining about his boyfriend and his friend sagely asks "if they're both bottoms."

The man's preteen children, who are in the room, start jumping up and down yelling, "Bottom dads! Bottom dads!"

Vile.

He could have had a cushy post in the military when he enlisted, but he chose to take a position that the average soldier was assigned near the burn pits. That may have been the cause of his cancer.

I don't know what he was like a politician, but that took character.

"Free Guy," which came out last year was also influenced by "The Truman Show." Ryan Reynolds plays a minor character in a role playing video game simulation and after he sees a beautiful woman, decides he wants to be in charge of his destiny and breaks out of the mold of his dull routine. This, of course, meets with a lot of resistance, but he prevails.

Also a good example of how "we accept the reality we're given."

It's like the multiple personality disorder craze back in the day. Everyone was being diagnosed or self-diagnosed, but it was just a trend.

Good to hear it.

I was also an atheist from childhood and diagnosed with a mood disorder in my twenties, but since I've started believing in God, I've found I can take a much lower dose of meds. Thankfully.

I don't know much about Ray Cohn. Never heard about him being a child abuser, though. Just that he possibly had shady business dealings, but that was from the MSM.

He can't have been worse than Obama's "mentor," but I guess that's whataboutism.

Oh yes. I wanted to tell my doctor that I could weigh myself and examine my nude body and then pay myself the co-pay and it would be as helpful as a telephonic physical appointment. But I didn't.

True. Most people got the shot out of fear and did not demonize those who refused. There were a few people who I told I didn't have the shot (why I was going to socially distance) and said they didn't care one way or the other.

However, there was a very vocal group who did, and those people, I do not feel sorry for.

Are you sure these people have actually played chess before?

I was audited as a Dem. It was pretty painless. But now, who knows?

I can't help but compare him to Martin Luther King Jr.

The FBI harassed him, too, even encouraged him to commit suicide.

The only way they will stop Trump permanently is assassination. And then they really will have a civil war.

I remember reading in the nineties that Prozac didn't outperform the placebos in its pre-release trial. It really isn't that much more effective than the older ones on the market, but the side effects are far more tolerable. This helped its popularity when it came out.

Several books on depression back then admitted that the "lack of serotonin" theory wasn't that much of an explanation. These weren't even medical tomes, just general audience paperbacks.

The people who got the vax frequently claimed they wished those who didn't would be locked up, lose their jobs, get sick and die. Did this person speak out against those individuals wishing harm on others who were not vaxxed? I doubt it.

I keep picturing the real Joe Biden strapped to a bed somewhere like in "Misery."

I've seen pretty much everything being chalked up to racism, white supremacy. It's hard not to take this seriously.

Probably the person in charge is on vacation so they give the task to someone who's clueless.

Probably quite a few people naturally go by Harry Potter or at least they did before the books came out. The others, though....

Don't get another cat until you feel ready. Sorry for your loss.

Gluttony and pride are both sins. If I find you gross because you have no self-control when it comes to food or sex, I'm not going to apologize. Not that I'm going to be as outspoken as Matt, though.
