And probably also referenced in The Office when Dwight cuts the face off the CPR dummy and wears it…

A local brewery is doing this too: forfeiting a Friday's worth of revenue, and donating some of this weekend's to the ACLU so they can grandstand.

Lmao I’ve done that before. Some protest some dude looked at me with his stupid sign and I literally pointed and laughed at him as I drove by.

They have to keep up the charade that Trump is tyrannical somehow. I’ve certainly never heard of a king whose every move was invalidated by a federal judge.

Unsurprisingly I don’t go to his place anymore. Lol. But the dumbass also once told me exactly how he makes his dough, so I do my own at home now.

So many of these people don’t have the slightest idea what oppression really is, because in their minds literally everything is oppression.

I had this incident at a local brewery right after the election where I listened to the owner of a local pizza place spew vitriol about anyone disagreeing with his view on Israel and Palestine.

Somehow he just kept going and going and suddenly he’s saying every single other pizza place here sucks except his, talks shit on neighboring business owners, his former employees, and the city itself, basically calling us a bunch of backwards rubes and acting like he’s a hot shot in spite of our bad taste. Again this is to me and like five other locals at the bar…

The coup de gras was when he then blamed his own baby daughter for existing… because he knocked up an employee and she wouldn’t abort the baby.

It’s what abusers do. Hurt you and then say “look what you made me do!”

Literally, “I’m ignorant of this one thing I can look up, so I’m choosing to be even more ignorant about a much more impactful thing”

Makes me think of this perpetually single girl I know and her smug smile and leftist glasses. Lol. Found out recently she was homeschooled, actually, so I would wager that apple didn’t fall far from the tree.

At best this semantic distinction has made the debate around the topic confusing: I was wondering how it was possible people here were so virulently denying cloud seeding was real to the point we can’t talk about it…

I was a huge Teddy Roosevelt fan when I was younger. This move gives me bigly "Speak softly and carry a big stick" (and there no problem there, believe me) vibes.

Si vis pacem, para bellum.

I am descended from both sides involved in the Spanish Conquest of Mexico and the lefties similarly like to gloss right over the fact the Aztecs were eating people. Also the Spanish were able to conquer in part because of all the other tribes who wanted them gone…

This leftie gal I went out with applied the double standard perfectly: called me a colonizer because I’m descended from Mayflower passengers, but fetishized my Aztec ancestry.. while simultaneously complaining people would fetishize her for being half Japanese.

This is not right:

Astra is Star. Ad is to.

Further, death is mortuus and road is viam.. put it all together and it would be something like “Via ad mortem”.
