Yeah, that is the official claim I think. What doesn't make sense to me is the ultimatum is "resign or we will impeach". Obviously he's not going to resign, but if this was really about 2024, then that option doesn't make sense.
Seems like they have no idea what his next move is, and they're trying to look like they are in a position of power, and taking a long shot at maybe forcing that move.

The reason why the courts and congress wont hear evidence is that if that evidence proves Trump should have won, then all the down ballot votes would follow suit (excluding the one-off 200K plus Biden only ballot dump post 4am in PA for example). In other words, we do not have a legitimate Congress. They should not be there anyway, let alone certifying electoral collage votes, budgets or even individual pieces of poop. More than anything that's what convinces me that he's got this under control. No way he would leave himself vulnerable. I do think he may drain the swamp and walk away, though. When you look at really old interviews with Rona Barrett and others, he talks about wishing someone LIKE him would run for President, but always says he wouldn't want to do it. I do believe he did this out of a sense of duty and when it became clear to him that no one else was going to step up. I believe it was his destiny. There are a lot of people helping him and maybe even others that came up with this plan. But no one but Trump could do what I think he is doing. It's a remarkable time to be alive. Historic. Biblical, even. He's going to be in the same league as George Washington. Another guy that didn't want the job.

I think they're setting up the narrative that Trump is crazy and needs to be removed immediately for when the countermoves happen. They'll use arrests/indictments/etc as evidence that Trump is a danger to the country.

One potential reason is if article 25 is put into action, it could render Trump unable to run again for office. Even if he lost, he is the most popular leader our nation has ever seen. They could fear that. I however believe that impeachment is because of a bigger kind of fear.
