What to do in case of emergencies, that's another level of the game that came after i got bored with it.
Yeah, they would not be down that much on take off. 20 degress is standard operating proceedure for many airlines because the wing produces more lift at any given speed when the curvature of the wing is increased which is what flap does, but only up to a point. The picture is actually surprising to me how much flap they can put out. This is a high drag config for landing, I was just pointing out that gear is down and flap is still partially down on take off.
I remember coming in to land in a strong crosswind and looking out my window to look straight down the runway. Considering I was a passenger that was bloody scary.
That final twist just before landing straight had me thanking God the pilot wasn't a drunk :)
