In order to be “shamed” you’d have to actually give a shit about what Suckerberg or Farcebook has to say??♂️.
Except that if you are on there but yet claim "not to care", your friends, families, social circle, employer, etc...can stalk you on there and utilize that "social score" to retaliate against you. It's not about fb users caring, it's about what others can use against them.

You can completely delete you profile but if you want to get a copy of everything that you ever posted, pics and all, there is a way in the settings to do that. Very simple then delete. I don’t even miss it.
I tried to delete mine early last year, and it stills tries to get me to sign back in any time I accidentally click some FB link. They said they would not delete it for 30 days, in case I caved into their addiction, but a year later it still has all my sign in info right there.

I was a "habitual offender" as they put it. I received every FB jail sentence they offer, numerous times, yet they never would exile me, and now they won't allow me to delete my account.

I have the same problem and it's been several years since I left and deleted my stufff.
Same here-I downloaded all the info and have a backup zipped file then nuked the account which FB accommodated by deleting everything.. 10 years of history and memories, good and bad.. Strange thing though, I have opened on several places my FB friends talked about and there were some connections but so far, no real reunions.. I have been focusing my energies here..
Same experience, 14 years. Deleted after the 6th of January. It was cool in college, now my real friends don’t have a Facebook, and my former Facebook friends don’t even recognize me in the store.

Fb has shadow profiles. Deleting on your side means nothing everytjing is kept...and tracked.
And it came out a while ago that they create profiles on you even if you never logged into fb once in your life. As long as someone, somewhere, has tagged your name or posted a picture of you on their own feed you have a profile.

Well I am not sure it worked out the way FB was hoping. One complete snowflake / Karen I know just put 'fully vaxed' on her profile photo. I was in a thread with like mined individual ( very refreshing) and a bloke comes on the thread posts her pic and says RIP. It all hit the fan.

I'm guessing they do but having used facebook pixel (and their old cross site ad tracking) myself for business the privacy metadata they vacuum up is usually stuff that is often aggregated 3rd parties where people either passively or actively legally sign away various rights (this is often part of small text that people don't read) to share personal data with various affiliates. This is kind of the dark art of web marketing and Facebook has been one of the biggest beneficiaries of the lack of online privacy laws in the country.

I took a survey today that named the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (among others such as Gates, Ford, Walton, Packard) and asked for opinion on what it does and how well it does it. Later in the survey, it provided a list of reasons to get the shot and asked which would be the best reasons to get it. Virtually every reason had to do with getting your freedoms back, such as going out, going to work, etc.
It's not just Facebook that will label and shame, it will be the Ford Foundation, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Walton family, Packard, and more. They want your freedoms.
