My feeling is there are a LOT of Club-K missiles in the US already. We can track incoming missiles into our airspace but we can't track missiles fired within the US. I would bet white hats have captured some in the US (think California) and also are tracking them.
Every empty lot or construction site in the country could be a potential launch site.

If you use the ADSB plane tracking site you can see some fishy activity. I have been seeing weird P3-P8 activity directly off cape canaveral, Port of Long Beach area, and in the strait of Juan de fuca for months. In particular the cape canaveral activity has been unsettling. Every single day for months I have been seeing military surveillance aircraft and UH60s looking in roughly the same area. Not normal.
I've been using my ears and eyes, and the same is true in Southern California. Daily military helicopters of all types flying low up and down the coast. Never seen it before the pandemic, but common now.

If the containers were within the US it might take a couple of minutes to figure out their origin, and that would be too long.
Bullshit. MAD is based on nuclear counter-attacks as reprisals. There is no time limit on those reprisals. The US military would have all the time they needed to determine which nation-state is responsible for an attack, and then completely destroy them.
In order for MAD to work, your enemies have to think there just might be enough crazy in you to follow through. Trump had that. Biden does not.
The idea is we launch immediately because the enemies first.launch will be to take out every missle sight we have before the next wave kills all the cities to prevent our launch.
