Imo the fundamental issue is donations in general by corps. Yes you need funds to run campaigns and such, but when you know who your donors are… especially the big ones, you’re indebted to them. Any company that donates will receive something in return… so in affect, politicians are bought and paid for.
My daughter lives near DC. Her employer provides cars for staff. I guess the Toyotas will be turned in. If Toyota was smart they'd wait and see what happens.
