100% correct. Our rights come to us from God, or if you will, from Natural Law. The Constitution merely codified and enumerated rights, and (if any federal employees are paying attention) it tells them what they are NOT allowed to do.
Yes, it lays out "protections" of those natural rights. Like "... must not be infringed" and "congress shall make no law ... abridging the freedom of speech...".
How about our personal rignt ton defend against a person trying to kill us. Can't I use lethal force back?
Not exactly sure what you're asking but my guess is that it's a good question. Reminded me about something else I've thought about. I believe the self defense laws are different per state. I took a concealed carry class not too long ago and remember the instructor going over some of the laws and how you need to exhaust just about all other options before using deadly force. Not that that's a bad thing, but you hear about needing to wait for an intruder to enter the house before using deadly force. Which got me thinking, in this crazy antifa/blm world we live in, what if people are outside my house hurling molotov cocktails through my windows? Sounds like they are trying to burn my house down with me in it. Would seem like I should be able to use deadly force on them even though they are outside my house.

Some of us "douchebag" Federal employees are completely in sync with what you are saying. Of course DoD its far different then some of the other agencies that are predominantly liberal. Just be aware that in my Command, there is about 80-90% Patriots. We have an extreme minority of liberals. They keep their opinions to themselves.

Douchebags is actually my term for most government employees. I've worked with numerous other agencies from State Department, FBI, CIA etc. Most ground pounders are awesome, most mid level management are simply douchebags and the support personnel are where most of you're liberals are, their not even good enough to rate douchebag status

I'm a civilian for the Navy. Been out of Navy for over 20 years. Im not worried about any repercussions. Im pretty fed up the the government these days anyways. If they want to fire me for not taking a shot, ok. I think they'll lose a lot of us. The fleet will fall apart without us fixing all their equipment for them. It isn't like the old days.

I think you'd be surprised. Also the US is fundamentally different from most other countries in structure. For example I think the first step in a mass revolt against the federal government would be calls for secession.

The government doesn't care about our rights. They have proven that beyond a shadow of a doubt. We've been speaking out. It does nothing. We voted, they took that away. We protested, they murder us and paint us as terrorists. We tell everyone we can, they silence us on social media. Repeating the same failed tactics over and over again does nothing.
