Before 2020, I used to think that stupidity was the absence of intelligence. I realize now that having limited intelligence and being stupid are two different things. Stupidity is a malfunction of intelligence not a limitation of it. I understood that with my friends and family. I though they were intelligent because they were intellectually complex, but most of them took the jab, despite the numerous warnings and data I gave them. And on the opposite end, some of my co-workers didn't take it, despite being simpler intellectually speaking (I work in a hotel restaurant). That puzzled me for a while then I understood that intelligence is not made only of intellectual capacity, but is composed as well of strength of character, common sense, instinct and faith. By being simpler their intelligence has less chance to dysfunction. This is like a car. An older car is usually more reliable than a modern one, full of electronics. Sophisticated minds are more prone to being deceived because they are better at lying to themselves. Double-thinking is easier the smarter you are. The fact that I work everyday with simple folks grounded my intelligence and made me listen much more to my common sense, my instinct and my faith, rather that just my mind. I hope I've been clear enough.
What the covid taught me about stupidity
🤔💭 Theory 😲💡
Very well put, I agree. The cleverer people are, the more they are blinded by their pride. Same with my family; I was amazed that they refused to listen, deemed my knowledge inferior. Sheer arrogance. They are too busy or lazy to check things out for themselves, just accept the MSM messages. Sad. There is a reason Jesus urged us to be humble.
Pride before the fall
Yep. I work with a lot of people who solve a lot of complex problems, but would spend meetings regurgitating all of the latest fear porn.
This the crux of it. These people all have the basic capability that all human beings do to see the truth. Fear and emotions have hijacked a critical function of their brains, basic logic and reasoning. This is why the complete acceptance for tyrannical government control is so strong. They are an absolute mess of fear based delusions and subconsciously seek out relief. Sick minds.
Wow! Great insight! Thank you posting that.
Yes, the entire book of Proverbs comes to mind and how verse after verse and chapter after chapter tells us how to have wisdom and knowledge and how to be considered wise and not a fool.
There are 2 ways to be fooled.

Everyone can and has been tricked in their lives. A big difference that I see is people like us LEARN from our mistakes, as to not make them again in the future.
Sheep and Libs never learn. That is why the cabal loves them. The best kind of slaves are the ones who cannot see their chains.
Another thing is the higher the " education " people have, the more stubborn and closed minded these people are. They make a glaringly obvious mistake and are too high on themselves to see it.
U can be a Super Engineer, Biologist, Mathematician, etc. and still dumb as a box of rocks when it comes to Reality, Politics, Intuition, Judge of Character, Making connections, etc.
I work for some rich uppity libs sometimes and they are pretty salty about how a such a blue collar simpleton like me, knew more than them regarding so many things.
They haven't been tricked, as much as they are actively tricking themselves, 24/7. To "wake up" requires themselves to face the idea that they're actually a very different person than they think they are.
That takes courage, it can be painful.. Few do it. You need to be humble, able to self-reflect, have an active conscience and the ability to repent.
I’d upvote this a thousand times, if I could
My sister has 2 PhDs, but she didn’t understand APR, or how to use APR to prioritize which of her 20 credit cards to pay down first.
It's due to the psychology of conformity. It actually comes down to laziness.
Heres how I think of it.
Intelligence = IQ * Wisdom
You can have all the IQ points you want in the world, but if you don't know how to use them they're not worth anything. You can also be pretty "stupid" on the IQ scale, but be pretty wise to bullshit which means that even though you've got a few less raw IQ points, you use them a lot better than some ivy league college soi boi whos had his wisdom destroyed from programming.
Maybe what you're seeing is the difference between intelligence and wisdom.
And COMMON SENSE! People have just lost all of their common sense!
Its all social media / MSM group think now.
EXACTLY!!
...and if there's one thing about stupidity these days... there's a lot of it.
Tu l'as bien écrit
The more time and money people invest into their education, the more resistant they are to being persuaded to think otherwise. This is particularly true of doctors. For them to realize that the Rockefeller Medicine paradigm has deceived them, blinded them, and prevented them from exploring that which they were taught was wrong and "quackery," it takes a tremendous amount of power to change their minds. The cognitive dissonance from realizing that their so-called education was wrong keeps them from opening their eyes.
I also think it has to do with the “hack” mentality to studying. Instead of sloggin through the heavy texts and journal articles, it’s about how to study for the test and which prep course will teach me what’s on the test. They’re studying for a test not studying to learn. The mindset is completely different.
There's intellectual intelligence, emotional intelligence, and common sense. Intellectual intelligence (traditionally educated at a university) is limited to memorizing with minimal critical thinking. Emotional intelligence sees the human impact of information. Common sense in my opinion is akin to critical thinking because it is able to marry intellectual intelligence with emotional intelligence. Critical thinking can be taught. Emotional intelligence must be experienced. Common sense is something we're either born with or not. I've met some geniuses who have no common sense. They will soon have no choice but to learn emotional intelligence. Being sick and in pain teaches emotional intelligence, patience, humility, etc.
Wow ..loud and clear , couldn’t agree more , perfectly said and very smart which supersedes intelligence
That a clear thought, it make sense.
I dunno why but the "I'm french" part made me lol
Great comment. Totally agree with your analysis.
I must be some sort of genius. I get the answer wrong enough that I don't trust my own math. If a redneck hick can't understand it it's probably wrong. That's how I live my life.
Common sense will take you so much further in life. Add some ability for critical thinking and intuition and you can write your own ticket.
Colleges, especially medical professions, have expanded in size and number to the point where nearly everyone willing to take on the debt not only gets in, but also gets pushed through.
I am so fucking over my career in healthcare. At this point I would love to retire and use my time to take down those responsible for pushing this plandemic on us. I’m especially salty about our local hospital administrators and doctors.
Praying every single day for the means and the chance to do so.
Hear, Hear! I can 100% relate as a retired "old-school" hospital nurse. I am embarrassed to even say today that I was a nurse...a nurse who loved her long career. Healthcare has gone straight to hell. Not in a million years would I ever believe to say that my greatest fear today is for a loved one or myself to be admitted to a hospital
Not entirely: none of the Jehova's Witnesses or Scientologists I've come across had much intelligence. Insecurities definitely play a part, as does the need to be part of the herd. Few have the courage to walk alone against the prevailing tide.
No, its personal observation. Maybe you know professionals, professors and the like in those cults. All those I came across were not too bright.
Ha! I recognized the Nacho Libre reference. Take it ee-ceee...
I. myself, have had to change some thinking. Years ago, as I witnessed stupidity all around me, I decided to dismiss from myself, any analytical breakdown of said stupidity because well, it's stupid. The last year has forced me to open my eyes and START CALLING OUT STUPID any and everywhere I see it. It's actually starting to become somewhat entertaining lol...
I find the more letters behind a persons name the more inept they really are.
Some people seek good solid principals to live by and live by them.
Others seek shortcuts to fame and fortune.
Only one way works in the end.
You’re conflating wisdom and intelligence, which have absolutely NO RELATION to each other.
Like the good Michigan dr put it during her anti vax mandate and anti mask testimony last week: “the less educated know what they don’t know” and is why they are at the same level or resistance to this mess as those with PhDs.
I don't think this is at a place, I just read this in church the day, making a similar point in an ancient way: People were bringing little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” Mark 10:13-15 NIV
Awesome
there's a good meme that illustrates this point
https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/iq-bell-curve-midwit
the idea is that highly intelligent people and dumb-dumbs are more likely to agree with each other than with midwits
My 2nd son is considering taking it and i am livid. All to travel to Europe for 1 week vacation. Other son already took it as he is n medical field. Both daughters n law took it as they two r n med field. I told 2nd son this FDA approval was false, a cunning bait and switch, i future 2024 different product. Advice on how to argue with 2nd to come to his senses?
I am sorry you are experiencing this. I texted my oldest son and asked for reassurance he and family would not be getting the jab. His two children have had no vaccines in their life and they are very healthy at 4 and 2. His reply, no Mom we will not be getting jabby and we are relying on our immune system to take care of us. I was so happy as he is my only surviving child. It made my year really. His wife and I aren't buddies but I will give her credit for doing the right thing with my grandchildren as far as having no vaxxes.
100% the shot will kill them
Nothing can stop what is coming https://www.bitchute.com/video/Ecux1OTy56oK/ Doctor speaks at school board.
https://www.bitchute.com/video/TuLS7Y11coSz/ 100% lethal
I feel for you. I am dreading to hear my nearest and dearest have had booster shots.
Two of my already vaxxed family members are eagerly awaiting their boosters. Both in their seventies.
Its not intelligence. The basis of every con is an attachment to one of the 7 deadly sins. People in todays society are plagued by all of them. Intelligent people aren't more pro-vaxx, they just aren't any more immune to the 7 deadly sins than any one else and can be fooled and conned like everyone else. Infact its easier to con intelligent people. Its pride. Its always pride.
Education does not equal knowledge and knowledge does not equal wisdom. All three are their own category. My Grama basically asked the same thing as you, why are “intelligent” people getting so duped? It’s because they’re not using wisdom but leaning on their own understanding.
Wisdom is a combination of intelligence and experience. Like what the Carnegie Mellon study demonstrating vaccine hesitancy showed - one end of the spectrum (PhD’s) and those on the other end of the spectrum (high school educated with lived experiences)
Also consider the fact that more intellectual types are typically "educated" longer so their brains have been force fed this crap for a longer period of time.
Wow, this is so relatable. Thanks
I think it comes down to trust and the ability to perceive that there is evil in the world. People can’t comprehend that their doctors and scientists would let them down and that their government could be so corrupt that it would do something to harm its own people for political and financial gain.
Good observation. Strong beliefs win out no matter the intelligence, and the beliefs have been programmed for decades by big media.
To sum up:
intelligence <> wisdom
Good example of book smarts vs. street smarts.
Thanks for your post OP. You may find this link interesting as well. What I find fascinating is that the least likely to get vaccinated are those high school degrees or less AND those with PhD's. It appears common sense and those who like to deep dive into the data are the most likely to avoid the CCP shot.
https://unherd.com/thepost/the-most-vaccine-hesitant-education-group-of-all-phds/
I think a major contributing factor to those wanting the shot is they are highly determined to be with the "in crowd." They don't have the self confidence to stand their ground and follow their own instincts. Its the safety in numbers line of thinking that school of fish and herd animals follow. Unfortunately for them, this leads them to be highly influenced by Social Media (which is censored for one view), MSM, and large work environments with many peers.
