Part of the problem with the culture war, the cold civil war, whatever the hell you wanna call it is the loudest voices on the left, for the most part, want power, crave it even, and the ones on the right don't want it, actively eschew it, and we just want to be left the hell alone.
So we're hobbled by our own unwillingness to seek power, even though a strong, Liberty-hungry rightwing is what we need right now.
I'm not talking about the NAZI-larping types, either. They're no better than the leftists, they just embrace traditional values a little bit more. Nah, I'm talking about the people who have to be shoved with both hands into positions of power, and even then only take it, because there's no one else who will who can be trusted with it.
We can win, but we're gonna have to accept that it's our duty to right the ship before it gets driven into a whirlpool.
The problem has nothing to do with left and right, it's psychopaths vs. normal people.
Healthy people don't seek to dominate others. Psychopaths see nothing wrong with it because they're essentially born without empathy.
The solution is doing something about psychopaths. We need them completely banned from any sort of company or government or anything with a power structure.
I actually think the REAL REAL solution is to find a way to make psychopaths feel something again. To heal them.
I don't know how to do that though, so for now they need to be eradicated from the power structure. I don't know if we out them in prison or a hospital or simply limit them to simple jobs or what, but they have no business running society or even having an influence on it.
