I’m sure this will make me unpopular, but in my experience everyone talking a big game is too fat and lazy or too much of a gigantic pussy to do anything actionable. In no way am I calling for violence at this point but if people needed to stand up I can almost assure you it won’t be the people talking about it now. I’ve dealt with too many people who get off on their endorphins playing action hero in their own mind.

If we decided to not participate in our economy for a quarter of the year we could really put a squeeze on those who wish to control us. We wouldn’t need threats and anger at that point. Wishful thinking, I know, but damn if I wouldn’t be thrilled.
Absolutely, ideally we as a nation will never have to deal with another war amongst ourselves. To be completely honest I don’t think it ever would happen on a large enough scale to be effective. Unfortunately, we have to hope our system isn’t so corrupted to where we will never have a voice again.
there are plusses and minuses to the differences in legal systems. one seriously activist judge there who decides to dig in and investigate could reveal information that has international reach.
