What I don’t get is the world couldn’t function if this shot was going to kill everyone who takes it. Say 80-90% die off. Who’s left to manage water supplies, nuclear energy facilities, sewer systems etc. Sure the 10-15% of us left are some of the most capable, but there’s endless systems that take advanced knowledge. The scale of those systems makes its senseless. Sure we may have a few nuclear scientists left, but no where near enough to safety shut down all nuclear plants worldwide. Honestly if the end game of the shot is death, I don’t know if I would even want to be left alive. The mess we will be left with isn’t going to be pretty or anywhere near as “comfortable” as it is today
