They're so much fun! Actually I've been thinking about contributing as a vendor to my local FM by selling homemade mead made from local honey! Gotta support your local businesses frens!
Consenting to any suggested information (rural; urban) causes the conflict of reason (want versus not want). No matter what sides one chooses; the few who made the suggestion will contradict both sides deliberately to sustain the conflict of reason as division for the many.
So suggestion for division (reason); followed by suggestion of contradiction (talmudic reasoning) to keep reason going.
I’ve lived the urban life. I’m currently living the pastoral life. The pastoral life is better. In fact I look back at all those years on the “fast track” — the rush, the high taxes, the tolls, the traffic — as a dark nightmare period of my life. Now I am more relaxed, healthier, wealthier, and love going to farmers’ markets on Saturday mornings. If you have not tried both options, you are not in a position to judge, but common sense should tell you lower cost and proximity to food sources is going to be less stressful. I must be missing the connection between fascism and rural life.
I used to be in that kind of bind. We made a plan to get ourselves out of debt, repair and sell our house, and move to a rural area. We talked and planned and dreamed but then we actually rolled up our sleeves and did it. It took us about 10 years.
I find this an odd comment. I live in deep blue and they absolutely love Farmers Markets. They are everywhere.
When I worked downtown SF, there was one in the mall near where I worked midweek at lunch.
My only beef is that a lot of the people selling at these markets aren't really farmers (both sets of my grandparents farmed and I know what it look like). I see a lot of stuff that looks like they bought it at Safeway and have just bumped up the price
It's an odd comment because the left is not a monolith. As you mentioned, plenty of them are loving farmers markets. This is probably a one off rando with their beliefs, it is a random tweet after all, anyone can do that.
Eh, my extremely liberal sister who of course was first in line for her shot #1, #2, and booster, AND marched both her children (age 12 and 14) in for their shot #1, #2, and booster, and who thinks people like me that refuse to take the vax are stupid and part of the problem, not part of the solution ... loves farmers markets.
Who do they think grows the food? What kind of an absurd world view is this?
Anyone who has lived in a rural area loves the closeness to nature and loves getting their fingers dirty.
Urban living IS degenerate in many ways. How can these people claim "muh climate change" and at the same time claim rural life is "fascist".
It's maddening
Not to mention that "localism" would be the only actual cure for "climate change" if they actually cared about solutions to problems that don't exist.
Correct.
These markets are awesome. Lots of good fun, good people, and sunshine usually.
I spend a ton of time going and building lists of vendors for when they shut down stores
Yep! Love going to the farmers market.
They're so much fun! Actually I've been thinking about contributing as a vendor to my local FM by selling homemade mead made from local honey! Gotta support your local businesses frens!
It's not new either. Right from the beginning, the Bolshevics went after the farmers in Russia.
because theyre looohoooseherss

Its what they do
Sure we can, we just have to take over the media.
Farmers markets serve the urban population with fresh local produce.
That's Fascist Local Produce, bigot!"
It’s racist if you don’t get it shipped over from China.
Tippy topest of keks.
haha love it.
do one like "non GMO foods and alkaline water are white supremacist tools of control" or something like that

Then you must be a whowite supreme pizza bigot. Lol welcome to the club 😂
Some of us are deeply in debt and we can't afford to leave, even though we can't afford to stay, either. The cities are where all the jobs are at.

We should stop feeding them then
He looks like a happy little farmer!
I think I need a little farmer pepe garden decoration lol
Me too!
Pepe garden gnomes... I smell profit!
Ants vs the grasshopper. Old wisdom is the best wisdom.
They've been warning us about communism since before it had a name.
OMG are these people somehow determined to be completely miserable screeching sanctimonious assholes? Farmer's markets are now a BAD thing? sheesh.

Hitler was a vegetarian, what more proof is needed? Those evil zucchini's and potatoes, if only he had got into art school.

I’m just a farmer tending to my memes
Has anyone told Mother Earth News that they are now a hard-line right wing publication?
I hate cities.
Farms are alt-right. Burn them!
Man, their narrative is falling apart! Hahahaha!!!
What is it with the Left's thing against farmers? It's almost as if they don't know where their food comes from.
These retarded communists want to ruin everything.
Yet in Baltimore, they hold a farmers market every weekend...
Pepe’s got the cutest little feetses.
They forgot to mention that we're parasite free
Take out the word Fascist and I agree 100% with this statement and am proud of it
These asshats are freaking insane. When do we really deal with this 1,000 lb elephant in the room?
The only people who would be against "nationalism" of a nation would be foreign subversives.
