As a Health care worker - WOO HOO!!!!!!
As a healthcare worker about to be fired ... not to doom, but I'll believe it when I get the email from my work saying "we're no longer mandating the jab"
With that said, I'm still praying for the best outcome
I'm in the same boat. "Federal contractor," which is BS. I work 100% from home and my big tech company is ready to fire me. It's redpilling family members who got the vaccine.
Use this as a challenge to WHY they are mandating it. This ruling is based on the CMS guideline and the OSHA one is on hold under a different judge. Personally, I have stayed on top of all of it for the exact reason as you - we are health care workers and it will affect our companies. I have been vocal that it is discriminatory and now that there is a legal ruling - it will be forced to go to the Supreme Court. Put the pressure on them because many have said " the federal government is mandating it, we don't have a choice" or " We get most of our funding from MCR and MCD and thus, we have to mandate to get paid".
Without the federal mandate setting precident it falls squarely under discrimination. Especially if you filed/file for a religious exemption (whether or not it was granted or denied).
Private companies will commit financial suicide by libel, by forcing vaccination against personal rights given to us by virtue of divinity and the natural state of the human condition. These rights are not granted by anyone, and therefore cannot be taken by anyone.
These rights are indeed protected from infringement in the constitution and ultimately are not subject to laws, decrees, mandates, or orders that are contrary to securing these sacred amd protected rights.
Find yourself a good discrimination and constitutional law attorney.
My wife is a federal contractor and forced to take it. I can say from experience that these private companies have broken many Civil rights and Hipaa laws. Open discussion of ones health and religious beliefs and threatening of loss of employment over it. Discriminating individuals based on these beliefs. Treating unvaxxed and vaxxed differently. The list goes on and pn.
Yeah, my coworkers were fired at the end of Sept. I believe they are going to file a lawsuit but don't know much more about it since I am not part of it.
The way HR and the hospital jumped on the bandwagon and handled the entire process, I wouldn't go back to my former place of employment. They should be ashamed.
Next do DoD and Military please.
As a healthcare worker, My privately owned facility will still be going forward with the mandate....ugh!
It's for health care workers, but it's a win.
Fed contractor mandate got first strike today too https://archive.md/eaFs5
That is only for 3 states. My state is still not affected so we will see. However the judge was right in saying that these decisions are really state decisions and the 10th Amendment makes this very clear.
While its only three states (Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee), it will likely get expanded nationwide just like the healthcare one just did (it started as a few states and then was expanded nationwide just now).
Understood, but optimistic this will fare like the OSHA challenge and be expanded. Good news, especially with new deadlines looming!!
I am optimistic as well. I think now that this ruling is out some Federal judge will expand it nationally as long as it makes sense. Seeing the other rulings I don't see how one won't.
No it's not. This is different judge, different ruling, different suit.
Did you read the link? https://archive.md/eaFs5
I was replying to Dagny and not the OP.
We just read through the court documents and in the court documents, it states Nationwide. I have my fingers crossed that this is true and will benefits us all in some way.
Can you link me those please? I was expecting December 8th to be sent away with no pay but that is moved until Jan 4th. I want to see what my options are.
Thank u so much !
Oh but HunnyB, it’s for “more than 17(!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) million health care workers”!
Doomers be like, "Laaalalala nothing is happening still losing lalalalaka"
Doomers always gotta doom.
I try not to doom too much, but let me give an example of why dooming is sometimes OK...
The covid “vaccine”.
First the anti-vaxx argument was, “Its not FDA approved”,
And at that time, i warned that “no FDA approval” is a very weak argument, esp when FDA approval appeared to be imminent.
Now, the OSHA vaccine mandate is being held up in the 6th circuit court, but that won’t last forever.
Ive been monitoring google news for OSHA vaccine mandate chatter, and the advise coming out to big corps, from their corp lawyers, is to continue on with preparation for OSHA mandate, as if its still imminent.
Their reasoning goes like, if OSHA mandate stay is lifted, the mandate will still be on the Dec 5 / Jan 4 timetable, and that would be unworkable on short notice, therefore big corps stick to OSHA timetable regardless of court status.
Firstly, that is NOT dooming. Whoever told you that it is, is wrong. Dooming is not articulating frustrations, explaining your doubts and asking for encouragement. In fact I wholeheartedly support that.
What we do not tolerate are snide remarks about "the plan" not working with no backing as to why someone thinks that and we're also extremely intolerant of people who whine from the perspective of consuming MSM narratives. Also not big on someone articulating word salad, but it's obviously meant to sow dissent and has no basis in fact nor offers anything productive.
Bottom line with Doomers is if you aren't happy, get involved. Change the system from where you can and if your response to that is "I don't have the time" then we certainly don't have the time or patience to listen to you. There is another dom that is a welcoming anti-Q safe space. This is not now nor will ever be it.
All I gotta say is Boooom!
Much better than Doooom! The doomers can get out!
More winning please!
This was big. The federal contractor vaccine mandate was also blocked. My wife works for a medical device company with a couple of small federal contracts and it's almost impossible to get a religious exemption. She was slated to lose her job in January because of this insanity.
Things are looking a little brighter today.
I don’t think people understand the impact of this
OUTSTANDING
Wow that site is unreadable way to many pop up ads got the point but wow!
The injunction affects the states behind the lawsuit: Alaska, Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming.
There are 3 Federal mandates at play to require the vax: (1) through OSHA (employers with 100 ppl or more) which is currently halted. (2) through CMS which is the one that this 10 state ruling applies, and (3) Federal govt employee (and contractors) mandate (where the deadline for the jab was recently extended).
And then there is when individual, private employers choose to create a vax mandate as a policy. Some private employers are allowing medical and religious exemptions (often based on what the states allow- for example, NY doesn't allow religious exemptions).

3 different federal judges, along with 13 ag's if im not mistaken?
Here in NY, nothing as changed... our full on communist government just issued another bullshit state of emergency, national guard on stand by soon they'll descend on nursing homes to forcibly jab them again.
What happens if the state governor requires it? Does this supersede that?
Nope
Now do Federal Contractors!1
Ya, healthcare is still mandating it in Ohio. They dont care.
Now, can state governors mandate it on a state level?
Yes… hold the line fren! One domino is all we need, this is the second
