I don't believe in atheists. Everyone worships something, consciously or unconsciously.
When you are close to someone, it is generally quite evident who or what they worship in the decisions they make and how those decisions affect themselves and others around them.
I tried that whole atheist thing when I was younger. Problem for me was, it's a religion by definition. I think we can agree religion is based on faith. Athiests have faith there in no God nor anything else. Thus the whole thing falls apart as easily as the opposing faction. Both sides are based on faith of that which cannot yet be proven. I believe there is something out there, but I don't proscribe to any single organized religion. My faith is in what is right and what is wrong. If there is something else out there, I'm backing the dude on the side of freedom. Atheism is a religion for the defeated, and that's why I moved on. For reference, I grew up in Northern Ireland during the troubles, so my outlook on religion within the big picture is different from many.
I'm an ex-atheist. Perhaps people would say that I have gained faith by moving towards mysticism. I think it's more like I lost my faith in my previous position of atheism and I haven't subscribed to Christian faith at this time.
There's something going on out there, but I think the moment I try to encapsulate it in a defined faith I'm going to start being wrong about something.
The "Catlick Chorch" is a traitor to the people, and perhaps nowhere we can see that better than in Eire. Sounds like you have this sorted, but faith ≠ religion, as much as these folks would have you believe that.
What about nihilism?
Bit more complicated than just which deity you believe in, it would be like explaining being blind to those with sight to explain nihilism to a person with beliefs
I believe there are people who believe that they are atheists. But they live their lives in worship of something that, in practice, becomes their deity, whether they profess it or not.
Edit: to be clear, I have nothing against anyone for their beliefs, atheist or otherwise. Actions speak louder than beliefs and I measure people accordingly. Also, I knew this post would be controversial, and I enjoy the debate because it helps all involved think outside their respective boxes. Cheers!
No, you're absolutely right; whether they deify sex, money, or whatever else, nobody goes long without the worship of something. I think these others are arguing about the personification of said thing to the shape of a deity, which is really a moot distinction. A valid distinction, though, is that there are aimless zombies out there with no purpose until one inhabits them; there are temporary atheists. If they survive it, they find something to worship.
Actually, atheism is the belief that there definitely is no deity. Agnosticism is the lack of belief in a deity. But Jesus said, "You shall know the Truth and the Truth will make you free!"
I think agnosticism is a bit more nuanced. It's more of "I'd believe in a deity if I saw enough proof", whereas atheism is hard core "There is no god".
I'm saying this as an agnostic. I used to be hardcore atheist, but I've opened up my mind to the possibility of a god existing. My problem is that there is so much conflict as to whose god is the right one. Seems that a lot of people usually go with what they were raised with as the correct one.
First step, is to understand that different forms of god are being preached and interpreted by people. That’s all. People. And people can make mistakes, and interpret thru there own lenses — political, emotional, generational. To truly know the Living God Almighty, seek Him first and His kingdom through the Bible, which is written and inspired by the Holy Spirit. This happens in the heart. Not the mind — in the deep part of your spirit. You will find him there waiting.
I have read the bible, back when I was a practicing Catholic. Problem is, there's so many different versions of the Bible, and each has its own quirks, things removed, things added. And all were written by men, supposedly through divine intervention. Same with a lot of the other religions. That's the majority of my issue. How can we tell there was definite divine intervention for any of them? And if there was for some, and not others, then what? Do we toss out wholesale parts of the book like King James did? Do we add back in the story of Lilith procreating with demons to give birth to giants? What do we take as truth and what do we discern as allegorical? Did God really punish children for making fun of Elisha's bald head by sending bears to eat them? That's a bit of overkill. And that only touches the surface.
First thing to remember is that not every book of the Bible is written for every person. Some chapters are written just for the Jews, some books are written for believers, some for non-believers. This is why it would seem that the Bible is contradictory. Because there are different outcomes depending on your relationship with the Lord Jesus. That’s just for starters. After that, get your self a good Bible with the Old Testament with writings in Hebrew and interpretation into English. And the New Testament with Greek writings and interpretations into English that’s when the Bible really opens up! Things are different sometimes when we see it in Greek or hebrew. As far as additional books, as you dig deep into the history behind each book and where God will take you, you will know which books you want to read snd which ones make sense to include.
At the heart of atheism is skepticism. They are not skeptical at all.
I am at peace with my beliefs. These people are not.
I visited my Christian aunt and uncle recently. They are really good, friendly people. They asked me if they could say grace at their own table in their home. I told them “please”. You see, if you are truly comfortable with your beliefs, the beliefs of others are acceptable, so long as their actions are good.
I do grow tired of people constantly trying to cast a bad light on all atheists. I can say that it only reflects poorly on you. If you were at peace with your beliefs then you wouldn’t constantly have to try to convert others. You would simply lead by example.
You aren't at all skeptical of the fact that there are far more combinations possible in your genetic makeup than there are atoms in the universe? That the simplest life form on earth contains over 450+ genes, and theoretically you would need hundreds of genes for the theorized simplest life form to exist (it would need to exist in/on its food source and absorb it somehow).
If you tried to randomly create one of your genes by guessing at combinations, let say at 1,000/second for 13 billion years, you would not have tried all the combinations in just one gene. You are made up of ~27,000 genes.
It is like saying if we took a hard drive and swiped a magnet over it, eventually we would get MS Windows. Everyone here knows that wouldn't happen, - especially not in such a short amount of time as 1,000/sec x 13 billion years.
Now look out at the world around you, and see how much information would have to be created from whole cloth in such a short amount of time - with the bunk Evolutionary model often only a million years, or a few hundred thousand. It is ridiculous.
when you look at the idea that all of this happened on one planet, then yeah, it seems kinda unlikely right? now consider that there are potentially BILLIONS of planets in just the milky way galaxy alone, and that there are BILLIONS of OTHER galaxies, many of which are even LARGER than the milky way, and the chance that at least one planet wouldn't develop advanced life is nearly zero.
I think the idea that there are hundreds of billions of stars inside of hundreds of billions of galaxies - and so far not one sign of E.T. life points to the impossibility of life forming on its own. In fact, this is a scientific 'law', that life only comes from other living things.
Take the simplest life form theorized to be able to exist. It would need approximately 250 genes. The simplest life forms on earth now are made from extremely complex amounts of information that doesn't work if put together a different way. How do you explain Abiogenesis?
Just on this planet alone, in only a few billion years we have such a huge variety of complex lifeforms from plants, bacteria, insects, fish, humans, etc. For that much complex information to form together into coherent things is like saying every video game, OS, app, business suite, space shuttle programming ever made to date all programmed itself over a short amount of time with magnets pulled over hard drives.
We all know that is impossible - especially in only a few billion years, or with the example of data programs, swipes of a magnet. Even if you tried 1,000 swipes a second for 5 billion years, you still haven't tried all the combinations in one gene - and we are talking about hundreds of millions of genes. It is said that over 90% of every species ever to exist on this planet is extinct - so the real amount of data, coherent data, is staggering. Information Theory shows that simply saying 'evolution + magic pixie dust + many years' isn't nearly enough to explain this amount of data.
I am skeptical because God does not heal amputees. Show me a true miracle and I will believe.
As far as evolution, you’re completely ignoring MILLIONS of years of trial and error. Only organisms suited to their environment survive and reproduce. It’s not random at all. It’s a long series of cause and effect.
The answer according to the Bible is that this entire reality was originally created for God and the angels to use, with man being a created being to be a caretaker over this planet. There were never to be amputees, little kids dying of cancer or politicians killing their constituents.
This is all due to the 'sin', which is to say corruption that was created in this reality by Satan, and in turn humans. This entire reality will be one day destroyed along with everything in it, and a new reality will be given to those saved from this broken reality.
Just like many can't stand imperfection - God is a hyper-perfectionist, and we are told no one and nothing in this reality will be saved except through Jesus. The amputees, kids with cancer, etc are all evidence of a broken reality - and not due to any actions on God's part.
It is no different than you or I creating a Minecraft world that is corrupted by a hacker. No matter how good the Minecraft being's are, they would be forever corrupted due to the nature of their existence. God offers a way to pull your 'save file' out of this realm, and promises to insert it in the new reality.
Keep in mind that in the Bible, people who witnessed Jesus' miracles with their own eyes were still so stupid they ended up creating a golden idol to worship. You are on this board due to a million coincidences allowing you to see the truth. Yet here you are believing it's due to 'ignoring MILLIONS of years of trial and error'
"I'm sick of you fucking boomers making all kinds of assumptions" speaks of people making assumptions, while making assumptions. Pot meet kettle. I fart in your general direction.
I’m nearly tempted to remove this whole post, but I do believe in free speech. I just dislike the obvious Satan worshipers that are popping up in here. To be forward, we’re in this F-ing mess in the first place due to Satan and his ass-holic hold over clueless people that praise and practice death on humanity. It’s kinda odd they worship evil and death and are to wussy to just become a real part of what they wish in worship. It would save the rest of us oxygen if they’d just get some balls, so Satan could laugh at their dumb asses as they hand him their soul. The good thing is Christ our Lord will send them where they belong in the end, for they will not know God’s Where We Go One, We Go All.
It's crushing to see how many patriots comply with the demands of the Synagogue of Satan.
The only reason the enemy has such power of us is because most Christians can't comprehend how the Sons of Satan can be so evil. We assume they are just like us, hard working parents who just want to love their children and raise them in peace... whereas the truth is they hate us almost as much as they hate Jesus Christ and they are all working together to kill America from within, like a cancer.
I was married to an atheist. Since his family is catholic he put on a good show. As time went on I found he lies, cheats, steals and has no regard for anyone but himself. When I went aside to pray he would mock me. I finally realized I couldnt live with a man who lied about the littlest things... there was no point in even talking because nothing was true. Anything we consider as sins or just wrong was ok if he did it.
As per what they believe in or worship at least in this case he believed in and worshipped himself only.
Many labelled as atheist are actually satanic.
Marx wasn't just someone pushing racist totalitarian fake 'utopia' ideals.. He wrote poems praising satan.
Which makes him actually religious, just an anti God religion.
Not everyone who gets suckered in to Marxism realizes it is satanic, but everyone at the top of those groups or philosophies certainly does. Thats why they push it so hard. Because they are believers.
People confuse one type of atheist, one who simply doesnt believe in religions, with the commie version of atheism that is actually a type of religious worship in itself that hides behind non religious terminology- where murduring 10s or hundreds of millions for 'the greater good' makes them happy. The 'greater good' is cover for human sacrifice.
If you don't participate willingly then you are not giving your heart over to it. It's all about will and consent. No one or anything can force a spiritual persuasion onto you, that is the one of the greatest spiritual rules that God and demons have to follow alike.
Humans have religious/ideological machinery baked(evolved) in. It improves group dynamics and helps a group achieve beneficial goals. Being atheist does not prevent one from following a religion. It just makes it less likely that the religion they follow will be theistic in nature. Few atheists realize this and that makes them susceptible belief systems that take advantage of their pre-installed machinery.
Few serious people actually worship Satan. It's barely a thing. "Satanists" are mostly irreligious / humanists who are goofing on Christians. E.g. they build a Baphomet statue in front of a courthouse because Christians put up a Ten Commandments sculpture. It's ostensibly to make a point about the first amendment, but really it's a ruse to make their ideological enemies upset.
I'm an atheist, it's the lack of belief in a deity. Prove one exists, I'll change.
I'm a Satanist also. It's a philosophy based on getting the most out of life and doing no harm unless harm is done against you
The consistent comments and posts about things that people have NO FUCKING CLUE ABOUT BECAUSE 5 MINUTES OF READING IS HARD shows that the communist mindset is prevalent, judge entire groups on your preconceived bias and don't bother to seek the truth. Just pretend your being under absolute control of your feelings is how a rational individual should be.
I really fucking wish Satanism was like you retards believe because there's a lot of identitarians, communists, and people who's ignorance is otherwise fucking up the world who would better serve us all if removed permanently.
Unfortunately, since no direct harm is done I personally can't justify any attacks and the philosophy also says so.
So I guess I'll continue to educate myself, become the best person I can be, and get my goals finished.
If your a levayist then you belive in Satan.
You have a deity in the core root of your belief system don't buy the modern day bullshit that is all retrospective about mankind -- that horse shit, both lavey and Crowley pulled their shit from lam (grey alien) and the Egyptian deities.
Do what thou wilt is the "law of man", and a flawed philosophy that only leads to self annilhation.
The true nature of evil is self destruction, when a fire has nothing left to burn it extinguishes, I suggest you find another path to spiritual enlightenment.
The golden rule is called that for a reason, service to others as opposed to self promotes unity and cooperation and its what western civilization is founded on (and a large part of eastern civilization).
Everything you have is owed to the golden rule, I suggest you look at yourself perspectively and ask yourself if your being hypocritical.
I’m “spiritual”. I believe in a Creator. Not just believe in, but intuit. Feel. Trust. Talk to. Pray to. Thank for a million different reasons. I think Jesus is probably the right guy to follow. I also strive to be my best and do no harm to others. Satanism, to me, is the religion the elite who rape, kill and consume children adhere to. The people who’ve been subjugating and destroying humanity. If that ain’t true blue satanism, what is it?
I don't think I can get you to believe in a 'deity', but I think I the case for ancestry simulation, multiverse, various religious explanations and/or information theory is much believable than believing our reality is anything other than designed. That opens a huge door into who or what designed our reality and if and or why they did. I think you have to have a very closed mind to believe otherwise.
satan is not a deity. He was created by the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Ezekiel 28:13-15: "You were in Eden, the garden of God; Every precious stone was your covering: The sardius, topaz, and diamond, Beryl, onyx, and jasper, Sapphire, turquoise, and emerald with gold. The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes Was prepared for you on the day you were created. 14 "You were the anointed cherub who covers; I established you; You were on the holy mountain of God; You walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones. 15 You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, Till iniquity was found in you."
Because both believe in zero morals and do as though will. An atheist says there's no afterlife so there's no punishment for my deeds on earth and I might as well just do exactly what I feel like doing. Satanists say there's no heaven there's no hell as well Satanist don't believe in the Christian view of Satan. they're simply mocking Christianity and picking the bad guy from it to personify. Most satanists don't actually believe there is an actual Satan. Soon they will all be staring into the abyss and the abyss is going to stare back. Ancient mystery schools that dominate the secret societies and the new world order agenda also have fooled themselves through pure arrogance that the Christian description of the world is completely wrong and they are not worshiping Satan but the true Sun deity from the times of Atlantis and Babylon. The problem with modern Christianity is it completely whitewashes all of history before Christ and acts like the world was in darkness until he showed up which is not true we as Christians need much better historical perspective and we need to be honest with ourselves that are our own religion has been hijacked over the years and the true word of God has been watered down and altered over time.
an atheist just believes there is no god. that says literally nothing about their morals. you just assumed atheists have no morals when a vast majority of them actually do. just because they have somewhat different morals than you doesn't mean they have none. stop making baseless assumptions about people because all you're doing is causing further division among people when you make bizarre claims like that.
They aren't really, technically you could be a Christian that practises Satanism (not luciferians) but you can't have a Christian "practise" atheism just as an atheist can't be atheist and practise being Christian.
They are around here. I'm not one of them, but I'm provocative and open enough to get some in my DMs.
Theres a few ex-Satanists on here that while they aren't down with the whole Christian side of Q, they are still working along side us because they recognize we are the good guys in the Spiritual War.
I used to say: " 'Do what thou wilt' sounds like a good phrase, until the sword is pointed at you!" (Before you mention 'but Thelema', let me say 'I know')
Survival of the fittest is cool if you're the fittest, just like Plato's Republic is cool if you're a Philosopher King, and communism is spiffy as long as you're the General Secretary.
An atheist leaves a void of nothingness in them —- or so they believe. In the absence of God, Satan fills the void. There is no way around this. You atheists have infiltrated our society, thinking you were doing good taking God out of our culture and government but all that happened was that Satan ruled in the void of God. But what is truly ludicrous is that any human thinks they can either create God or remove Him by what they think. God will not be removed from His creation, His people who believe and trust in Him. No matter what you think or believe. But hey, you enjoy this culture you’ve created by “removing God and His blessing over America” and allowing Satan to move in. There’s no end to how debased people without God will go.
The church of satan totally missed the point of Ayn Rand's writings. You can't be both for Ayn Rand's philosophy and support authoritarianism. I'm calling that one a collection of larping morons.
I don't believe in atheists. Everyone worships something, consciously or unconsciously.

Heh. This isn’t really a shitpost.
Pretty smart girl this one.
If you don't participate willingly then you are not giving your heart over to it. It's all about will and consent. No one or anything can force a spiritual persuasion onto you, that is the one of the greatest spiritual rules that God and demons have to follow alike.
it's less about being atheist and more about hating christians.
Talk about a popcorn thread.
Happy new year, you ignorant boomer
I disagree
I’m “spiritual”. I believe in a Creator. Not just believe in, but intuit. Feel. Trust. Talk to. Pray to. Thank for a million different reasons. I think Jesus is probably the right guy to follow. I also strive to be my best and do no harm to others. Satanism, to me, is the religion the elite who rape, kill and consume children adhere to. The people who’ve been subjugating and destroying humanity. If that ain’t true blue satanism, what is it?
Luciferians are the synagogue of satan, different to Satanists
15 You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, Till iniquity was found in you."
explain how not believing there's a god is similar to beliving in and worshipping satan. I'll wait.
They are not
Atheist here. They are not.
They are not what? If you still believe in something or unsure then you're agnostic not atheist
atheists aren't similar to satanists is what they're saying
They aren't really, technically you could be a Christian that practises Satanism (not luciferians) but you can't have a Christian "practise" atheism just as an atheist can't be atheist and practise being Christian.
You need to educate yourself. I'm an atheist. I'm nothing like a satanist.
I'm both And being a Satanist requires you to be an atheist, otherwise the entire philosophy and practice makes NO SENSE.
You don't have to be a Satanist to be an atheist... to be an atheist you simply have to not have a belief in a deity
Which Satanism?
But I digress...
