I work with an individual who was the head of MC recruiting. That's just not true. They are having massive problems getting eligible individuals. I'm sure all branches are like this.
It's based on percentiles, but for most branches, over a 54 will allow you to qualify for a majority of jobs (general). It's broken down further into specific areas. I know with the Air Force, a 32 qualifies you for security forces and services (cooks and cleaners).
Thanks for the info! I think it was a "sampling" of 20 questions or so, not the full test. So I don't know how he actually did. He's very interested in being in the military someday. Dunno why people downvoated me on my comment. I wasn't implying the test was geared for people as dumb as a 12 year old (not that he is dumb, he's 12 - he's immature and unknowledgeable but he's a work in progress). I couldn't be prouder that he wants to join the military!!
Back in the 80s when I was in the Navy it was 30 on the ASVAB to get in the Navy and I believe the Army it was 21. If you scored a 70 or above you were qualified for any Navy A school including nuke school.
I can believe that. When I was recruiting for the Navy back in the mid 80s there were plenty of people willing to join but after checking for eligibility it was hard getting 3 people in a month. It was either they had a health problem like asthma or over weight etc…, no H.S. Diploma a GED wouldn’t do, they had an arrest record, couldn’t pass the pre-ASVAB test we gave them right there in the recruiting office, if they couldn’t pass that no need to take them downtown to MEPs to take the ASVAB test. I used to get pretty frustrated with thinking I had some pretty good candidates just to watch them all go away for one problem or another.
A lot of problems with recruiting - think of all the ADHD meds from childhood, teen obesity, pot smoking, drug abuse and just overall poor work ethic. Gen Z has a lot of things not going for it.
Who cares about the account? The info checks out. That’s what I said.
Our military is being purged, and “Dream Act” replacements have been lined up ready to go. Anyone who would question orders is being expelled. It’s a fact.
Just like how American doctors have been replaced with Indians, Arabs and Chinks, they’re bringing onboard Africans, Afro-Caribs and Hispanics to fill the roles in the military.
I’m not surprised people freak out here over news they don’t like, but damn, 40 downvotes? Get a fucking grip folks, the truth is the truth. It doesn’t mean anything anyway, “THE MILITARY” Q talks about does not mean the military.
Most people just join to fuck and drink with cool buddies and shoot shit. It’s a disgrace.
Confirming the purge. It started with the higher ups in the mid 2000s. By 2017 they were actively pushing any lower enlisted with combat experience out. I worked with infantry units during the Trump years, well armed girl scouts would probably have been just about as effective. That's what happens when you replace experienced combat leaders with ideologues and 18 year old trannies.
Thank God that you have the balls to do what is right rather than take the deadly clot-shot and bend over for the New World Order Bolsheviks.
I'm sorry your service ended this way, but in doing so, you did everything you could to wage war against the New World Order when your sacrifice was needed most.
If everyone was a patriotic as you, the banking goblins wouldn't stand a chance.
There's every chance we'll have some dark days ahead and your skills and leadership will continue to be a gift from God.
All of my OIC's, SNCO's, NCO's commended me in my decision. I had a Staff NCO that said to us getting seperated in the corpmans office
"You guys are doing what all of us wanted to do, but didn't have the courage to do so. For that I fucking respect the shit out of you guys"
He left us with a oora and left.
I had my OIC come to me and tell me that he commended me, and the navy seals for standing up for what is right. And that it was wrong for them to be doing this shit. All over a politicized experimental vaccines.
I had lances and corporals tellin me "fuck ya, freedom baby" and shit like that lol.
I have a vet Marine that I work with at work that respects my decision.
Im not being ostracized by the Marines, which is what I was afraid of. All of the ones I have spoken to (and there were quite a few) understand and respect my decision, but also felt sad that I was not going to be with their unit anymore.
I was left with a Farewell and following seas from my perso, and I checked out.
I DID have one master sgt who kinda grilled me just a little bit about it sayin shit like "ooh well you got a whole shit ton of vaccines in bootcamp whats different about this one?" to which i responded "it's an experimental vaccine msgt" (I wasn't about to argue with a master sgt guys keep that in mind) and he was like "well ok its your decision man" signed my checkout sheet and i left. He's a cool guy.
All in all, its bittersweet that my enlistment ended this way because of the brotherhood that you make in the military. But i certainly feel like they are backing me up regardless
Thank you for your service and telling your story. My daughter walked away from a Navy Scholarship (almost 2 years in), very promising career -engineer- over the vaccine.
She knew the school and the Navy would both eventually mandate it. Life has taken a very different turn. I don't know how it is for you, but her whole idea of her life path, her identity -- all of it is shifting.
Prayers to you. Imho you should be proud of your decision. Takes guts.
also in total there were about 20 of us that got sepped from a 300 man unit. BUT, there were a few hundred requests for exemption, all denied. among those of us who were sepped were a gunny, sgt's mainly lances and corporals.
the gunny was at 18 years of service, had his pension and benefits ready to go, and said fuck. this. shit. a true patriot. i salute that man i was not expecting that one to go.
i know some of you are saying the ones that didnt stand up were cowards but keep in mind pedes that some of these Marines have families and children that are depending ENTIRELY on mothers and fathers's their careers in the military, and it puts them in a "No choice" position and THATS why this shit is so fucking evil.
Glad they're seeing the human in you behind the politics, and showing the human in themselves by so doing. There's never a substitute for friends. Even when you get a new one, your old ones never get too old to not be friends anymore. Stay friends, frens.
I'll be following suit in less than two weeks. I'm prepared. My command stands beside my decision and thinks what's going on is wrong.... but yet no one will put their necks out. Sheep.
Scheller kissed the ring in the end. Made some anti-Trump comments to convince the tribunal he wasnt one of us or anything so they let him off light. Keeps talking like a rebel but he caved when it got hot for him.
I compared him to Peter, denying Trump 3 times before the rooster crowed
I had a lot of Marines that told me "Hey buddy we are going to live vicariously through you!"
It really meant a lot because behind the scenes people really are cheering you on, regardless of the unpleasantness of dealing with it all. Like damn, I basically gotta stick it to them and that's hard. especially in an institution such as the military
.
You did exactly what you pledged to do: you defended the Constitution from all enemies foreign and domestic. Probably won't be the last time you're called to do so. Welcome back from behind enemy lines. I know that last part won't be popular here, but we must admit how many TENS OF THOUSANDS of our service personnel just successfully defended the Constitution in a way that's more real than any recent conventional war.
Good for you standing up for what you believe in, would be so easy to just take it and pretend like everything was ok.
My brother is in the Navy and he basically cucked out and vaccined himself then tells me I'm being a dumb martyr for refusing to take it, he says I'm making it harder on myself.
So happy to see some people still have balls enough to stand up for what they believe. You'll land on your feet bro.
For those not familiar with THE LAW, that’s the DEPARTMENT OF DEFENCE - LAW OF WAR MANUAL, they (Military) had to follow not just the law of it in America, but also INTERNATIONAL LAW for engagement. This is lengthy but it will help if you are unsure what is happening.
Many companies will give religious accomodations. If they have already given it to one employee they have to give it to all (who have proven sincere belief) or else face a discrimination lawsuit. Instructions on how to file / write a letter for religious accommodations are available on the Liberty Counsel and Thomas More Society websites.
Good for you man. I would demand to be discharged with the current situation. A couple nephews are looking into joining the military. I'm trying very hard to talk them out of it. I can't imagine jumping out of planes, shooting guns then putting a diaper on your face and getting Covid safety briefings every week. I fought in the middle east for fucking nothing. The only important war in my lifetime will happen on US soil. Trying to stay high speed for that one.
A better future lies ahead for you. Thank you for your service. Who knows, maybe a new military will be formed minus the sheep. Keep in shape because we will need you. I believe everything happens for a reason. God has a plan. Will you keep us informed of where your future leads you?
I don’t believe there is a long waiting list, especially with the vax requirement. The sheep would not cut the strenuous marine stamina requirements.
While it is rude…it kind of rings true. No disrespect to the men and women that protect this country but if even thirty percent of them stood strong…would this farce continue?
Stay in shape, they may be offering you a fat bonus to come back before long..
I work with an individual who was the head of MC recruiting. That's just not true. They are having massive problems getting eligible individuals. I'm sure all branches are like this.
I have heard the same. Have family in recruiting.
Unless you're a woman or trans, apparently, and then you get a different bar.
I can believe it.
My 12 year old took an online ASVAB for shits and giggles. What's considered a passing score?
It's based on percentiles, but for most branches, over a 54 will allow you to qualify for a majority of jobs (general). It's broken down further into specific areas. I know with the Air Force, a 32 qualifies you for security forces and services (cooks and cleaners).

No they don't... I am 100% certain.
Uhhuh how? u/Hillinsider has info that checks out. You don’t. You’re not even active service, wtf do you know?
The dude is a handshake with only 3 posts - waste of a sock puppet account for you to support it.
Things must be rough for shills. You only ever see one or two at a time. Theyre going extinct.
Who cares about the account? The info checks out. That’s what I said.

Lol.
probably just a lie they tell them to further pressure them into getting the jab.
It absolutely is. By the end of this, at least 10% of our military will be forced out, retired early, or didn't re-enlist.
I suppose this is possible.
don't let the downvotes discourage you. who knows what'll happen. maybe when we get some new politicians things will start to look up.
Thank God that you have the balls to do what is right rather than take the deadly clot-shot and bend over for the New World Order Bolsheviks.

thank you for the reassurance :) and I agree.
husband also likely in for a change soon.
she sounds like a hero class type individual. she'll figure out a better way.
ah, thank you! she is! (and she says thank you!)
Now you have us as brothers and sisters 🥳 Well, you always did but you know what I mean lol
Thank you for your service!
you guys were always my brothers and sisters!
We're glad to have you back sir! You're needed here at this pivotal war in history!
So they all support you, but they're too cowardly to do anything.
Speaks volumes.
You'll always miss them,no matter how you get out,we are here,Semper Fi,mac
Thanks for letting us know & thank you for your service. Sounds like there won't be too many getting booster & etc. This is good news

Y’all will be the new leaders when this shit is over. Watch.
Your posterity will revere you as a hero. Well done.

Contact www.lc.org if you filed an exemption and we’re denied, then appeal and denied, they will represent you for free. Liberty counsel.
Ok cool. Thanks!
Thomas More Society is also a great source. Also check out this lawsuit: https://www.deseret.com/faith/2022/1/6/22869213/what-does-the-military-owe-to-religious-objectors-to-vaccine-mandates-navy-exemption-requests
Sorry, but not sorry, because they will eventually have to recant.
this whole thing is gonna cause a huge shitstorm thats for sure
I'll be following suit in less than two weeks. I'm prepared. My command stands beside my decision and thinks what's going on is wrong.... but yet no one will put their necks out. Sheep.
We all saw what happened to LtCol Scheller. They make an example out of anyone who sticks their neck out.

"The military knows its wrong pedes" We need military to step up for us. We are the ones they are to protect not the assholes in Congress.
That won't happen. Careerism took over the military decades ago. I wish it wasn't this way but that's the reality. https://www.mcconnell.af.mil/News/Commentaries/Display/Article/226158/careerism-are-you-part-of-the-problem/
Thank you for doing what's right! It took courage to stand firm! God bless you!

If they aren't mandating vaxxes you'll be able to set yourself up pretty well through these sites.
Any range, gun store, tactical gear supplier will pick you up in a heartbeat. Civis have mega hard ons for you crayon eaters.
If all else fails and you aren't some kind of weirdo, let me know

Join your local militia. You'll do more serving your country than the Marines
Can you provide more information? I for one would love to read your account and experience. Thanks, it would fill in a lot of blanks.
i'll try to add some more to this post tomorro, im really tired rn fren
Oh absolutely. Rest, just a suggestion, and a compliment, one that reflects the value of your contribution.
Right there with you. 18 yrs Navy. Just got my religious waiver denied on Thursday.
Religious waiver. What a farce. We shouldn’t have to prove squat to anyone!
Damn...

In Poland it is said: "-Poddasz się szczepieniu ? -Nie. -Dlaczego? -Bo żołnierz nigdy się nie poddaje."
Translation: -Are you getting vaccinated?
-No. -Why? -Because a soldier never gives up.
The word 'poddasz' in Polish also means surrender.
Article written by an AFA grad who is now a lawyer on employment law and vaccine mandates. Great read. https://www.bradley.com/insights/publications/2021/09/you-just-gotta-believe-covid19-vaccination-religious-exemptions
I pray you get reinstated soon with all missing pay, retirement points, benefits, and time restored for advancement. 🙏🇺🇸
