BC Ferry system moves vehicles to the island. The ferries are a big deal for Vancouver Island and very efficient.

The problem with keeping the pressure on is that most of us have to work and can't protest 24/7 but if people wanted to they could properly organize and set up a never ending 24/7 protest rotating thousands of people out so they can go to work but then people would have to give up their free time they so love sitting at home drinking their stupid beers like good little idiots while waiting for the next weekend to pretend to care at a protest. These world leaders know people will go back home and go back to work and nothing ever happens.
People in Canada, USA, and other countries would simply have to actually sacrifice their time to keep up the pressure otherwise it's nothing more than people protesting making other people feel good then everyone goes back to life as usual so nothing is ever truly accomplished this way.
