When Texas's abortion law was allowed to stand it was crickets on social media. It took weeks for them to make any protests. Why? Coz they had to hire and bus in people to "protest".
If people were really that angry, they would have gone as soon as possible to show their anger. Yet it took forever before the media could get enough people together for photo ops. There were no protests for a long time because it was obviously not organic. (It takes time to hire people and ship them in).
I noticed the complete lack of protests despite the media meltdown. It told me right away they hadn't expected that to stand and were caught off guard. If they had expected it they would have hired the people in advance.
