What is a warrant canary?
A warrant canary is a statement that declares that an organization has not taken certain actions or received certain requests for information from government or law enforcement authorities. Many services use warrant canaries to let users know how private their data is.

Hey goat, we all miss it. A lot of us are on voat.xyz now (aka talk.lol). More show up all the time. Many of us are on here as well. Most who went to poal have left because of the moderation there. My understanding is that there are quite a few on telegram as well.
As far as quality content goes, I come here. For the ambiance and camaraderie I go to voat.xyz. You should give it a look.

It's unclear how a question (like "When does a bird sing?") that has at least half a dozen viable answers is able to fulfill its purpose.
That doesn't mean it has no purpose or is unable to fulfill it; just that it isn't apparent how creating a debate about which of the various answers is most likely "The Right One" helps to influence behavior, provide information, or further the cause of freedom.

In the original context (from Q forums) it was implying a bird sings once it is caught.
It can be a play on words, have multiple meanings or be a slightly misleading statement to keep us and the enemy on their toes.

Something was deleted and the ‘,’ wasn’t removed. Quite coincidental it’s the 17th term😁
Or it could be that they had first listed the three verbs in a different order;
then changed the order of verbs, cutting out the second one but not its comma;
and pasted that verb at the end of the list, but forgot to delete the comma from the original position

Why would it be updated if there's no change in status? That's my thought at any rate.
The date given shows that it is reliable up to that date. Beyond that date it’s not reliable. That’s the whole purpose of a warrant canary.
Until it’s updated, we should probably assume it’s being monitored. That’s how a warrant canary works.
The gov can require you to continue the warrant canary charade. "Maintain all systems that could indicate system access"
It was originally thought the government couldn't force them to maintain the illusion of privacy..

It has not been released for desktop yet, nor has it been released outside the US. Patience is a virtue.
I'm American. They should let me in regardless of my physical location. I'm not sure what a good way to do that would be though.
