I agree, but he’s still pleasant to listen to and he puts a few spins of his own on topics here and there. He kind of reiterates and wraps up a lot of things we read hear but he’s entertaining. Just a pleasant voice to listen to while driving.

In the interview, Dave says that he's a very shy person, that he doesn't like talking in public or addressing a large number of people. This totally rings true.
If you pay attention, you can see that Dave is in some ways dyslexic. He doesn't process negatives the way that most native speakers of English do. We input our negatives into a negative noun or subject, whereas Dave strongly tends to put them in the verb component:
You & Me: "Nothing they do is working" vs. Dave: "everything they do is not working"
Early on, you could see that Dave also struggled with some pronunciations, specifically where the stress lies in some words. (Is it ANons, or is it aNONS?)
To me, knowing this just makes me appreciate Dave all the more. He puts in a heap of work, and despite the challenges that such a dyslexia might create, he delivers. (Love you Dave, if you are reading, bruh)
As Dave said, he was out there doing his reports way before Q or even before Trump came along. And despite all the ups and downs, he has probably been the most consistent producer of content since the Great Awakening started. Day after day, week after week. What an amazing record.
