Pro life is a lifestyle. We are not a pro life society and the pro life movement is a joke of a movement overall. What we should be doing along with supporting pregnancy centers is working towards removing the burdens of pregnancy. I've seen people here and elsewhere screech to no end, "we must have more babies!" Well, no. We need to fix this joke of a society first. A society that is currently supported by both parents or potential parents working 40+ hours a week to barely make ends meet is NOT a society worth keeping let alone repopulating. Until we can get to a point where women are given the entire 9 months plus or their whole lives to sit back and do nothing except care for children. Until a household consisting of two adults and three dependents can sustain a household on one income, it's not worth saving.
It amuses me how many self proclaimed pro lifers are vehemently against paid maternity leave and the welfare system. But go on and tell me how we need more tax payers on the plantation and how the poor, rich corporations can't sustain it. Bullshit. Stop buying the lies and clutching your pearls.
